My first ebook, any tips?

I've nearly finished making my firest ebook, it is about How to fix the PS3 game console tips and advice. It is 10,000 words. Do you think this is enough, it covers the key areas.

Does anyone know the best place to find someone who can get pictures for diagrams of the guide?

How to protect ebook from copiers? And the best places to submit ebook to make money?

      No it's not. Its coming out later this year. I already was half way through the book and PS4 was announced! The PS4 will come with a min of 1 year warrenty anyway (making little demand for any PS4 repair guide for first year), so i'll make a PS4 guide after that.

    1. Submit to Amazon Kindle, Apple, and all the other ebook retailers
    2. Put it on Clickbank or JVZoo

    See if someone on Fiverr can help you with your graphics. Just choose carefully

    10,000 words sounds fine. Most people would rather it be shorter as long as it adequately covers all the information it needs to.

    Sounds like a good niche too. Even after the PS4 comes out people will be buying PS3s. The PS2 just recently stopped being sold!

    I don't know if I have any particular visual bent and that's clouding my judgment here but I'm wondering if You wouldn't be the best person as far as the illustrations are concerned. No not for making any drawings or taking photographs or whatever. But like this: read a certain section. Ask yourself what type of illustration could encapsulate what the words are saying. Then search around. There are genuinely free illustrations around as well: for example, Dreamstime.

    1. I think it is a good niche book judging from your title. Got to ensure your content is good
    2. Go elance, odesk to source for graphic designers. Take a look at their portfolio and reviews.
    3.As for copiers, there is nothing much you can do. You can have the copyrights disclaimers. Other than that, I afraid nothing. You can create extra value to the ebook by creating videos on the extra tips(not in the book). Only your buyers have access to it. This will enhance your conversion rate.
    4. Kindle, click bank, etc.. The key is how to market the product. Do consider JV with a seasoned marketer to launch the project. This will ensure you will get more sales to finance your next project. In IM, you need to learn: LEVERAGING.

    10k words is plenty of content.

    For the graphics, you can follow the advice of the above or...

    ...as an alternative you can check Google images - under advanced settings (usage rights) choose: free to use or share, even commercially. You'll find plenty of images there under ps3.

    Clickbank and Kindle are the only retailers I can think of for your niche - perhaps some other warrior can lead you into more choices.

    For copyright protection - use a copyrights disclaimer. People may still steal, but there are eyes everywhere...
