User-Generated WordPress Themes

Looking for a WP theme that will allow people to post and their posts can be rated and moved around.

A theme similar to highdeas (dot) com with similar functionality.

I was led onto Me Gusta! but it seemed somewhat limited when I got into it. And BuddyPress feels too primitive. Google has let me down. If Me Gusta is my only hope, that's fine, but keeping eyes open just in case. Thanks.

      gravity forms can do that. then you don't need a theme.

    Dont exactly understand your OP. Can you just use Wordpress Multisite? Each user can have their own theme.

    I don't know any themes that should meet your criteria, but I used to have a user gernerated ebooks. Wordpress Custom Post Type with custom theme was very attractive for me.

    pro2sell, I was not aware gravity forms could do that. I have gravity forms and never knew that. That is one crazy plugin. Know what I should look for in researching that capability?

    run, yeah I don't expect there to be a magical theme that can do everything I want. If I have to outsource or get my hands dirty, i'm prepared to do so. It definitely doesn't hurt to ask beforehand though. and the theme you linked to is looks quite useful. It's even responsive, would save me the pain of creating a whole new app at least in the beginning.

    The fact that the theme is out there, tells me there are more possibly hidden treasures. I won't find them under the keyword user-generated though. I do really like that rating system.

    Good catch mobilemob. I even have an elegantthemes subscription. I tried to find the theme name in the source code, but got the impression it was a drupal site. So now I have the option of doing the same thing highdeas did, with some improvements. or use the Robust theme, and customize it... I'm very excited now, thanks everyone for the help!

    Sorry for reviving this thread, but yes there are plenty of user-generated themes out there available for wordpress. I use a few of them myself. User-generated themes are themes that allow your users to register an account on your site and submit their own content to the site.
