I think I have something to share with you.

To show ads for a particular video, it is necessary to enable monetization for it.

If you already have an adsense account, then whatever earnings you get through youtube will be added to the adsense earnings.

As far as payout is concerned, it is the same as normal adsense payout - $100 must be reached.

By the way... I am trying to make money with youtube. Do you have any idea of some courses which teach how to make money with youtube ??

Did you try the High voltage video forum ? I am considering to buy it. but don't know how it can help me.

Youtube does not automatically approve every applicant for partner status. In order to get a partner account, you need a certain number of views and subscribers. This number varies depending on the niche you are in, but for most niches you are going to need 2000 to 2500 subscribers before Youtube will consider you.

You can be allowed to monetize individual videos before you become partner, if those videos are performing really well. Typically you will get an email from Youtube asking if you would like to monetize a video, and telling you how to do it.

There have been some recent changes to Youtube, particularly to the homepage. In the old days, if you had a video that was getting a lot of views fast, then it would pop up on Youtube's homepage on a "most viewed" list, and really get some momentum. This is how people like Chris Crocker and Shane Dawson became huge celebrities on Youtube.

Now Youtube's homepage is driven by browser cookies, and what you see depends on what you have viewed previously. If you view Youtube on a mobile app, then the homepage will have the latest videos from the channels you subscribe to. So these days Youtube marketing is all about building the subscriber list.

The nice thing is, this levels the playing field for the folks who have serious content to offer, rather than just acting like an idiot in front of a webcam. If you want to be successful on Youtube, act like a professional filmmaker, and make good videos. Then use SEO and social media to get them noticed. Viewers will come.
