Would it matter if I upload a diff niche sales page on an existing domain/hosting?

I have a domain and hosting dedicated for my blog content. It's content however is dating related. Google have already indexed my site and I'm getting fairly good traffic.

Now, I am thinking of uploading files and a sales page for a totally unrelated niche.
I aim of creating a subdomain and/or a new directory for this and just drive traffic to it.

Will it affect google's view of my site? It will eventually get crawled too.

Thing is, the site is under-utilized and I can still use it to test things out instead of outright buying a new one.

    Hi,

    1. Hosting does not matter. I host lot of domains on single hosting.

    2. For domain, it is better to go with dedicated domain for different topic.

    3. If you must use current domain, go with sub-domain, as Google treats sub-domain
differently . It is better to go with sub-domain instead of new directory, as new directory will be considered just the part of the main domain.

    Hope this answers your question!
    Regards,
    Mohsin
