Hi all

I will be creating a paying wso very soon just would like to know how to add video and images to the thread

  • The only video you can add to a WSO thread is a Youtube video. To add one of those you just paste the Youtube url from your browser straight into the WSO thread. The video will just show as a link until your WSO thread has been approved and paid for at which time it will show as a proper embedded video.

    As for images, the poster above has got your covered. Just use the bb code image tags.
  • You can practice in the "test forum". I think posts in there are only visible to the poster, so you can practice adding images, text, videos - anything - until you are confident enough to post in the WSO section.

    Both TO86 and Will forgot to tell you that you need to upload your image to an external hosting site before adding the IMG tags around its web address. If I need to add images, I ftp them to my hosting space before adding them.

    • Correct. Thought that was a bit self-explanatory though. You won't have an image url unless it is uploaded somewhere.

    Yeah ... WF doesn't host the images so you need to upload them to your host first and then use the bbcode to insert them into your listing.

    Ideal width of images should be no wider than 750 pixels.
