Check out a guy called RROXX on fiverr.com

I have used him loads and he always delivers quality goods!

$5 for an ebook cover with various options to chose from and banners are 2 for $5!

Cheap as chips and a great service to boot!

You can go to a site like istockphoto.com. Find a really nice picture and find a really nice, complimentary font to use as the text. Put together with photoshop.

Same question I was ask myself when I start with IM marketing and I want to hire someone to do that for me. Son I realize that is much metter for me if I learn a bit about graphic and start to di it by myself and after that I get great result.
I simply buy software and all what I need to do is create picture and that I do with word 2010.
Check about software, great one:

Im using eBook Cover Creator | Free Online eCover Design - Im a paid member, but there's some free options too if you're on a tight budget, and if you only need 1 of the pro covers, it's only $4.95 anyway.

My advice for outsourcing ebook cover:
1. Do brief your designer on the ebook content. This will help the designer to create the most appropriate design.
2. Always ask for both hi-res and low-res images
3. Try to have only 2 colours scheme for the cover. the max. colour is 3. More colours will make the cover look very dated.
4. Have your website stated on the cover.

These are great tips that can help your conversion rate.
