How To Promo a One Page Site?

Warriors..

I need advice on how to promo a one page site. This is a news aggregator site and not a landingpage or squezzepage (site in my sig).. Sending out a pressrelease next week and have a FB page up and running but what more can i do? Is socials a good idea for a one page site?

Any help is much appreciated.

    One-page "sites" have a problem which no amount of SEO and linking will ever FULLY address. It's hard to build trust and credibility with just one page, and that's why "normal" or "organic" ways will always be challenging.

    Single-page landers make more sense with paid traffic campaigns - where you send TONS of traffic and expect to convert FRACTIONS. But if the traffic is huge - the fractions will soon add up, as long as your page is HOT and converts well.

    Not sure if this applies to you, but MOST people looking for "one-page" solutions are typically looking for shortcuts and "easy" money. I have been there too, once. I've never seen one of those work. A more comprehensive approach is almost certainly better to consider.

      Thanks.. I´m def not looking for shortcuts or easy money. Ive been here since 2003, sold 95% of my bizz in 2010 for good $ after working my ass of for many years.. This is a new challenge and im just looking for some advice.. =) I agree with no seo or linking it's a tough road to go but hey im not a quitter..

    Only thing I could really suggest would be PPC, display & solo ads in targeted sites. I can't see you having much joy with organic search engine traffic with such a site as, to be honest it's just a page full of links.

    Plus, from looking at your site, I'm not quite sure how you're planning to profit from it, just looks like a site full of news links, all of them appear to link out to news sites, so where's your profit opportunity? Doesn't look like you have a list signup either.

      Yep its a site with full of links to the latest news.

      I have a plan on how to profit from it and i already have some ppl interested.

      I dont want any signupforms, flashy banners, annoying pops, just a simple site with links.

        Fair enough - well, if you've got a plan to profit then the easiest way to market it would be PPC, banner ads, solo's etc and of course social media.

        Could you post news vids on Youtube too? The obvious would be by recording news clips and editing them a bit - but then of course you may run in to trouble with getting them taken down. If you happen to know some autotnune musical geniuses who could take sports news clips and turn them into funny songs - there's a winner for you!

    What's the site purpose? If it's not a squeeze or salespage, then even if you find a way to send free/cheap traffic - how are you going to monetise on that??

    Dont you worry how im gonna monetise it, thats easy. What i want help tips and idea on how to build a sustainable web brand, reach more people interested in sports, latest sportsnews, sportsbuzz etc etc. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks .. =)
