Constant Contact Question?

Hi,

Im looking at joining constant contact and ive looked all over the site but cant seem to find the answer anywhere...

Do they allow affiliate marketing (Biz opp, Make money online offers)

Surely somebody knows?

If not, who does. I already have aweber, but im looking for another AR with good deliverability?

Would also consider self hosted, but not sure how to set it up in order to get good deliverability?

Thanks

I think so, because I've received such emails from users of their service to whose lists I've opted in, in the past. (Not always in my in-box, though!).

Surely they do? Best to check their terms of service or send them an email to ask (and see if their reply hits your inbox?!). Website and Products Terms and Conditions of Use - Constant Contact ®

    I'd try GetResponse, myself.

This thread might help, too: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...te-thread.html

    Thanks for that reply alexa,

    Ill give them an email.

I did actually use get response, but seems you get a few spam complaints and they boot you out.

Don't take this the wrong way, but that's one of the reasons I'd recommend them: the stricter an autoresponder service is about spam complaints, the higher their deliverability is. Seriously, these are two different sides of the same coin. The services that will tolerate spam complaints are by definition the ones whose deliverability is going to be much worse.

If you can, before selecting a service, it's not a bad idea at all to join two or three lists of people using their service, each one from two or three different email addresses, and check whether and how reliably their emails reach your in-box. You may get some surprises that it's better to have "earlier" rather than "later".

yeah thats a good idea. Im actually on quite a few lists. Aweber always hits my inbox, never been to spam, but to be honest, GR seems to hit my junk ALOT. seems strange, ive never marked them as spam either.

    Hi Jonny,

Drop by our site and speak to our customer success people via IM, email or phone. Ask questions (ask tough ones too) and see if you like the answers. If you still have questions, feel free to ping me with a PM. BTW, you can ask about compliance testing a list to see if it will be approved before you decide to purchase. As for deliverability, Return Path verifies ours as 99.5%.

    Regards,
    jim

Looks like constant contact Do Not allow any type on affiliate marketing. paid $150 to set-up, then they say they done allow it. Even though the sales person said they did before i bought.

Which other AR allows affiliate marketing?

A good AR though, not imnica or any like that

      Here is another option...

      OfficeAutoPilot

But I think you might be better off trying to use Interspire on a VPS and use SMTP to send your messages.

The SMTP provider I use is SMTP server, bulk & marketing email service - Mailjet

SMTP can be more expensive - but when you are self-hosting your leads you can have more control and can easily segment or remove the unresponsive. This will actually improve your deliverability also. (engagement is always a plus)

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Coby

    Thanks cory,

    few questions...

    What is a VPS?

    Also

ive just looked at that SMPT you mentioned and they has restrictions
on the amount of emails you can send. Do you know any which allow unlimited
    sending?

    Thanks

      Hey Jonny,

VPS is a "virtual private server" - similar to a dedicated server.

All SMTP (as far as I know) charge on a "per email" basis. Which is why you want to practice list segmentation.

With a little work, you could actually end up with smaller lists that are more responsive. That's why I advocate segmenting your list - especially when using SMTP.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Coby
