Need to outsource some content creation

I basically have this big ginormous plan but want to know a good way to get stuff outsourced.

I'm doing a real estate related website, and I'm looking to find someone to write articles for me. I'm trying to remain on a shoestring budget. Anyone know good places to get original articles written?

I'd also like to create some free content like downloadable pdfs with real estate information.

    Hi everyone,

if I were you I would try write first myself.

But if you wish to outsource try elance.com

Or maybe even fiverr but I don't know if you can find the right person there but good luck

    All the best

fiverr is pretty terrible for content...go on craigslist manilla or bombai and find someone to write them for $2.50 an article....that's what I do with a decent amount of success and a lot less headaches....

  • For your onsite and offsite content development requirements, are you planning to hire dedicated writers on a monthly basis, or project-based writers on a per write-up rate?

If you are on a shoestring budget, you might be better writing it yourself.

Generally you get what you pay for with outsourcing content.

shoestring = fiverr. You won't get good quality writing on a shoestring
(generally speaking). So that may be your only option.

    Depends what a shoestring is...

Warriors For Hire is your best bet, imo. There are some gems with lots of reviews

But if your definition of shoestring is $5/article, then do it yourself, you'll get better quality.

While it's best to write your own articles, if you don't have the time to do that then you really have no choice but to outsource. Try Fiverr, Elance, and Odesk. There are good writers there who write for low rates.

    Hey,

Outsourcing is Great, I would highly recommend Odesk Platform. There are some truly talented writers on there and the fee's are so ridiculously LOW

I hate the idea of "Writing it yourself", there are reasons that the OP want to outsource it. If I just came up with the answer "write it yourself", I ask the question "where to outsource" for what?

As for me, even a $1 writers write better than me because I'm not a native English. In addition, I'm not using English as my second language. As well as I don't want to write for whatever reasons myself.

Still, Warrior for hire, iwriter, and textbroker are good choice even for shoestring or not shoestring.

I regularly hire writers on Elance.com.

If you want good quality writers, you will probably be paying around $10 per 500 words at the minimum. It will also cost more if they need to do in-depth research.

There are some article directories who allow you to use their content, copy and paste. If you need unique content I believe you can copy an article and only have to change 30% of it to be considered unique by google.

All article directories allow you to use their content (subject to their terms of service). That's the reason for their existence. That's what an article directory is: a directory of content available to be used. If you weren't allowed to use their content, it wouldn't be an "article directory", by definition.

Wouldn't it be more difficult and time consuming to pinpoint the exact 30% of the article you copied that can be changed, rewrite that 30%, then revise the remaining 70% so it flows smoothly with the 30% you changed, than to just extensively research about the topic, tap credible sources of relevant factual information, formulate a suitable outline and freshly write the material while injecting a tone or style that your target audience can relate to? Also:

Where did this "30%" come from? I don't know of any published material from Google that mentions anything about this...

There are a lot of very good writers in the Warriors for Hire section, of course, as someone mentioned already. You could hire a few of them to write two articles each to see how they fare. It will take some time at the start, but you will avoid wasting time later, and, at the same time, you may just get lucky and find more than two writers who are good.

Though it is a little time intensive, you can find out quite a few really good writers by reading some of the posts here. Many such people don't offer services in the Warriors for Hire section but they are very good, too.
