Activating myself. Need a free webinar

Right now I don't know what is going on with me but it is like all energy, motivation and inspiration is gone. I know I have a heap of things I want to try and unfinished things that pile up.
I always feel like when I want to get somewhere it feels like being dragged in the snow and more and more snow is piling up in front of me until I can't handle it more.
I need to activate myself somehow. Recently I tried Microsoft lync and attended to a lync conference with lync and about lync. Even if I were not so interested at that time about lync I noticed that I got activated. Just by chatting and someone holding the conference made me motivated.
I would really like some help from you guys to find a conference/webinar place about internet marketing that you can recommend that would fit my need.

Cheers Natt

    Hi Natt,

Not to diminish professorrosado's offer to help in any way, I would like to share this video with you and anyone else that needs to change the way they think. It's shared by two people I at first considered mentors, later as friends I hold very dear to my heart. Maria Gudelis and Carlos "Art" Nevarez. I hope it helps you as much as it does me.

      Thanks for the video John.
I watched the whole video and I probably need to watch it again.
Takes practice to see myself as a lion in the mirror.

It sounds to me like you are suffering from information overload. When you have more information than you can handle you tend to lose motivation and focus.

You don't need anymore information, that's for sure.

What you need to do is get rid of all the stuff that is doing nothing for you. Get rid of all the different ideas and plans and information you have. Get rid of it from your hard-drive and your mind.

It sounds like you are an opportunity seeker. That's ok. Most people in IM are but you'll never get anywhere meaningful if all you do is look for opportunity after opportunity.

If you want to build a real and reliable business and income you need to have one focus in mind. One business and one goal you are working towards and forget everything else. Stop buying products. Stop going to conferences. Stop going to webinars. Focus on the one thing and work hard at it until you make it happen.

Don't build a business on a method or tactic or loophole because those things never work. Build you business on something that has worked for years and will continue to work. One such focus would be list building.

If i sat down beside you right now and mapped out a strategy for you to follow, and then held you accountable to work on it every single day, i bet you'd be motivated. I'd be your boss. That's prob'ly what you need to sort out first - "your worker mentality" needs to shift a "business owner mentality" - the best way I have found to do this effectively is to pick one bloody strategy, map out a step by step 30 day plan for it's achievement, and tell that gremlin inside your mind to shut up.

Your success or failure is already decided by how you think and act, today.

Not sure if that is the case of my problem. I find it difficult to get swooped in with the feeling now I know what to do. Nothing is very clear for me but more like something to be tuned in to to be able to get forward. If I don't understand the information I always try to find another version in another place until I understand it.
But really I have not done so much information reading lately but more programming stuff. I have a fiverr gig that I need to promote and I read about it here in warrior forum about how to promote it. The things that pile up in front of me is the obstacles that I don't know of that will stop me from getting anywhere.
For example one thread recommend me to put my fiverr gig in the signature.
Immediately obstacles pile up for something that seams so simple at first glance.
Like for example that you have to have your own domain name in the signature link. So I have to plan domain, hosting, template, content which isn't just typing in the link which I first thought. It is the same with everything for everyone.
I think everyone is struggling with that each small step will pile up obstacles and not knowing what will pile up makes it difficult to choose if one should continue or choose another road.

I really miss the energy I had before when I could work with my stuff whenever I had free time.

You are right about that. I need to get help to push myself over the obstacles. The thing is I find it unmotivated to only work with myself so I'm searching for other solutions.

I don't know if it is only me but when I read articles, e-books. I worry that I get to detached to the information. Like it is something there that I don't get but I don't know what it is. Then other times I think there can't be anything there and the article writer have a system/method that I don't know of that enable him to pump out information that looks decent but doesn't give me any bone to chew on.

    Hi Natt
I think the thing that may help you the most is stop seeing everything as obstacles. These are opportunities to learn, to increase your knowledge base, it is a challenge. Don't give up or think you can't make sense of this puzzle. As you gather up pieces of the puzzle they often don't make sense. But when you get enough of the pieces together everything will come together and make sense. I have had this happen over and over again but realize if I just keep going I'll reach that Epiphany point. Where what made sense, the things that didn't fit together and stuff that didn't seem connected all converge into success. It all comes down to how you choose to see it, is it an obstacle or a challenge, you decide.

If you have a lot of things to do already, focus on them, don't see them as a big list you need to conquer. Pick something on the list and bang it out, then another. If you have a lot of stuff you need to do, you don't need to be trying new stuff it's just going to add to the stuff you feel you need to do.

You can keep searching for external things to motivate you but you're looking in the wrong place. The solution is inside, it's how you choose to look at it. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Thanks John for your response. I think you're right with finding all the puzzle pieces.
Another thing that I also thinks is important is to have a system to remember all things.
I can't keep all in my head so I use a tree view editor to write down things.

Right now I have my internet marketer engine running. I just got some sales on amazon using my auto blog system.
What really annoys me though is when I want to do things everyone else seam to respond slow. One guy on fiver takes almost a day to respond but I think I'm to eager to get things done today and maybe he is busy so I have to respect that.
