If You Have A Wordpress Blog, Check Your Plugins!
I run various websites with Wordpress on them and use a variety of plugins on the sites.
Since Site Speed is so important to the user experience, I test my site speed quite a bit.
Today, I discovered a plugin (Attention Grabber) that was slowing my page load time down by 6 SECONDS! That is insane. The plugin was always fine but I guess it isn't optimized for the latest version of Wordpress.
As soon as I deactivated the plugin, my page load time shot way down and now is in the 90% range of fastest sites on the net.
It's always a good idea to run a site speed test from time to time and establish benchmarks and test your plugins to make sure you don't have one bogging you down.
