A question about a possible new niche website scam

Hi all

I have a quick question. If I have a website with a 99% bounce rate, yet I have 200 unique visits to it each day, would it be traffic from adfly?

In my google analytics it says that the visit duration is almost 0 second.
Also when I'm looking at the keywords that converted the unique traffic it says "no keyword". Yet I still have 200 unique visits?

Also, has anyone ever heard of Company Investment Network | Internet Marketing
as an advertising site?

Thank you,
Tom

Erm you might want to be extra careful using these kind of traffic resources as the traffic is not targeted. You will just be wasting your time and money as the traffic is not targeted at all. It will be better to get quality traffic than junk traffic that does not convert.

      Thanks for your reply jason.

To tell the truth I have just recently bought this website, and after analyzing it I became aware of these problems...99% bounce rate and 0 seconds visit duration.

Yet, my website still pulls in a decent income($30/day). My seller has monetized the site with "company investment network", apparently a network from Russia. Now I am thinking that he has built this "company investment network" from scratch and is feeding back into my account with his own money. Shortly I think he will be pulling the plug and cancel my "account" with the network.

^^^^^Is this hypothesis possible? I am becoming extremely worried as I think this may be the new way to scam buyers into buying niche websites.

Can anyone please confirm the authenticity of "company investment network" and also tell me if the high bounce rate and 0 sec visit duration is due to paid traffic like adf.ly?

      Thanks so much

99% Bounce Rate is definitely a red flag. I am surprised that you manage to pull in 30$ with that.

Also shady traffic sources can quickly get you banned from Paid Ads such as Adsense which is what you are using im guessing?

Anyhow, be very careful, this seems to me like a quick way to make money.

Thank you for your reply vlad. Yes I think I've been scammed, even though it's still making money. The site is monetized by the seller with "company investment network" companyinvestment.net

I don't even think this advertising network is real?...I think he may have built it himself since none of the contact phone numbers work. Has no one has heard of this network before?

The site gets about 250 unique visits a day.
Here is the site. How To Clear Debts
Is it feasible for it to make $30 a day?...

It certainly looks very much that way.

I'm afraid the site's content is pretty dreadful, too, and most of the pages apparently aren't even indexed, and with the almost complete lack of navigation, there isn't a way for anyone to find anything they might be looking for.

Call me a skepchick, but I find that quite impossible to believe; sorry, but it doesn't even begin to make any sense at all.

That or something like it, strange though it may sound; yes.

I think it is quite suspicious to have that number of visitor and zero time visit. Some bad people out there are using PPC campaign as a way to get click and get some dollar doing it. They are a real people but with zero interest in you site. I think it is good for the advertisement. But bad for "real business" based web. If your earning rate per day is true, I guess adf,ly is a good choice for your site.
