Try to make your own website with proper domain name of your business.
List all your products on Amazon and ebay and promote those products with various tactics (search this forum there are lot many)

Soundclick, Bigfishaudio to name a few.

Bigfish is in the business of selling your soundpacks from $19-99 and up depending on the size with a royalty free distribution.

If you're talking of pure exposure then the obvious first choice would be YouTube. As for establishing himself then as mahol said, a branded website is essential. Also, just as in IM, there are many useful music forums that he could post in. A really good forum off the top of my head is Northern Sounds which, although it's primarily focused on virtual instruments, samples, etc, it's a great community and people often upload their demos there.

If you want to think about actually marketing and getting the music out for streaming and buying then SoundCloud is a good place for exposure and CD Baby is good for independent artists to promote and sell their music.

I hope that helps a bit. All my music resources are on another computer so this was just what came to mind off the top of my head. Feel free to get in touch if I can help further :-) (I'm a musician first and foremost ;-) )

eBay would certainly be a good place to start, if they sell on there, set up your own ecommerce website to avoid the eBay fees.

Music libraries are an obvious first choice.
Own website is also a good idea, no matter what.
Membership in a site like TAXI: record deals, publishing deal, film TV placement, recording your music, songwriting can also work great if you can find the "right" listing to respond to.

The odds of getting a deal via TAXI are pretty slim. First you have to be forwarded and then the place you get forwarded to has to follow up. It can happen but the odds are not in your favor. There are easier ways to sell music.

The first choice should be youtube. Through Marketing and promote yourself you can increase your sell. Soundcloud could be a great platform. You can promote your soundcloud profile through this => Proven method for soundcloud promotion
