Recommendations on how to market an MLM?

I have 2 mlm programs I would like to mass market quickly but am not sure what method of advertising to use. Solo ads? What are the best sources for that? Any scrapers for mlm that are good and affordable? etc...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

MLM in it's nature is not designed for mass marketing on the net. It really needs to be marketed using network marketing.

Now you can use mass marketing techniques to get "leads", then start one on one contacting the leads.

If you are dead set on just mass marketing, you should drop the MLM and start marketing a product more suitable for that technique.

Oh, and don't get me wrong. I love MLM and do extremely well with it. It's just not that suited for the marketing channel you want to pursue.

Thanks Rob, that is what I suspected. I haven't really tried to market an MLM online but it seems that there ought to be a way to at least get people calling me. That's why I was thinking solo ads etc... I can see that you need to be available to your down line, but it is finding the people who are interested that I am concerned with right now.

How would you go about doing that?

You can use even simple squeeze pages to collect information from people that are possibly interested. Get them to the squeeze page anyway you want. Solo ads, media buys, adwords...

What is important is what you do with the leads. You need to personally contact each person within 24 to 48 hours of them showing interest. The best way is by telephone. Email conversations are usually to drawn out and the initial interest can't be kept high.

Grab a copy of "The 45 Second Presentation" by Don Faillia. It's a great starting point. He also has another good book called "The System".

Both books are just a few dollars each and you can get them on Kindle also.

I actually make sure everyone in my downline get these books. If they can't afford the few dollars, I buy them for them.

    Hi Tom

I too am new to IM but also have a MLM product that I wish to market via solo ads, having read the other replies. I tend to disagree with solo ads not being suitable for mlm. If the product is right MMOs will jump at it, ie if the product involved online box free distribution, I would like to know a bit more about your MLM products but I am not sure if we can discuss or give out url links on this forum, so if you want we can email and skype later. laurietubbassociates@gmail.com

      Laurie.
I agree with you. Solo ads are really really good. I understand the comments about MLM not suited for solo ads = online marketing.

This was the old days. If a MLM is not suited for mass promotion via internet simply drop it. We live in a modern world with internet reaching all corners of the world.

Even Mammoths had their time, but got extinct ultimately as conditions changed.

      Regards Hans
