why jvzoo doesnt offer one click upsells?
and other platforms like paygear, which also use paypal, dont offer one click upsells?

    The problem JVZoo has in doing one click upsell is that they are using PayPal's Adaptive API with chained payments. Chained payments are very restrictive and make it hard to do some very basic things.

    I'm opening a new affiliate/vendor platform similar to JVZoo that has removed many of the bottle necks that the JVZoo platform has caused for themselves.

    I will be applying for my Application ID tonight which should take a week to receive my ID to go live.

    But I can ask if there is a way to use preapprovals which is a process needed to do subscription payments with the Adaptive API with chain payments.

    If PayPal says this is possible, then it may be possible to have a customer click an OTO order button and go directly to the download page.

    The Adaptive API with chain payments is a fairly simple system but very complicated in integrating into a flexible platform that lets the vendor make so many choices when paying different receivers.

    It would take me a month to code this into the new bank system that I will be opening next month.

      Got off the phone with PayPal Tech support and they could not offer any help with a one click upsell using Adaptive API with chain payments because the chain payment platform is very restrictive.

      So it appears when using chain payments that one click upsell is not possible.
