Looking for an honest Mentor

Hello

Looking for a "Honest " mentor to assist me in getting me started in the right direction with the internet marketing process. Currently have a site ( blog) that I purchased almost 8 months ago but have had no luck in getting paid customers. I checked the traffic and it has traffic but no buyers. Not sure what it needs. I have tried various offers for help but none really worked as most were instructions that were just rewritten from years ago. I'm willing to offer 50% of future sales if we can get the site going. PM if you interested

    Be careful with any offers you get. I learned the hard way. I paid a "guru" 2k up front and entered into a long term contract that didn't work out and we actually had to go to court over. I was a newby and jumped at the opportunity to work with someone who "proved" they were making multi six figures. Everything the guru taught me was things I could find here at WF. If you have any questions, run the name and offer by someone you trust in the business. But whatever you do, don't be a fool like me and sign any kind of long term contract where you are obligated to pay up front. That was a tough lesson to learn!

      Thanks JVM for the info. Your right as inthe past I have gotten offers from "gurus" who said for a charge of $5k, they'll get me going and I would be earning $20K per month. But when I asked for references, just kept getting emails to join.

        Be very very cautious while selecting a mentor. My experience was worse. I contacted with a person and after talking with him, I thought he is master in IM and nobody can beat him at any way. After attending 5-6 classes, I understood that he was a cheater. he just have got some basic knowledge about IM and online money earning which can be easily founded in Google search.

        Luckily I did not pay him much. Less than $100. But I had a lesson. It is important to have some basic knowledge about a subject before getting in touch with a Guru.

          To be honest Willie if i was you, i would spent a lot of time on the place you are now.

          There is tons of information on here,plenty of fantastic helpful guys and also lots of the info is free!

    I'd check Tiffany Dow's blog! I'd also check Craig Desorcy's site! Don't know if he still has spots but these 2 great people are the most ethical people I have had the pleasure of meeting here! Craig offers mentoring. He had an offer on a couple of weeks ago. Tiffany is a IM blogger but she works a bit like a mentor! She does vlogs everyday and she won't say 'it's good if it's not'! She has a no BS approach, some brilliant products and there is great community of people following here! You might find YOUR MENTOR within that community! Join her list, check out her site! See for yourself. Craig mentored Tiffany and she is now giving us all her wisdom and knowledge! She has challenges on all the time etc! A brilliant marketer or mentor...depends how you interpret the word!

    Never come to a forum and say you are looking for coaching or mentors. Think ab out it. The only type of people who are going to respond are those after money. Are they the sort of people you want teaching you?

    You want to go and look for people who are successful and who you want to replicate. Go and beg them to mentor you. Find the mentor you want to work with don't turn this into a job interview for random people to become your mentor.
