Yes, solo ads are good for promoting your clickbank products.
As long as the solo ads are essential to your products.

Solo ads are excellent to build your list.

If you want to use solos to sale Clickbank products you first need to contact the solo ad seller about it. Some will only send to free offers.

If they accept to send to your squeeze page, than you need to ask the seller

      - Will they be sending to their buyers list
      - If the product would convert well to their list

      Good luck!

Of course it is, especially if you don't have any list for yourself. Some list is good and works like magic, while another list is bad and worth nothing. You should explore your options and try solo ads as much as possible. don't forget to make a report of your own and assess each solo ads based on your sales. Clickbank product is no different with any affiliate product, so solo ads will works with any affiliate product that you offer.

    Waste of money IMHO.

Solo ad's are not cheap, and if you do get a sale or two, then you have to worry about the high refund rate on Clickbank. You will be off building your list first, then promoting Clickbank offers to them later

Could not agree more!!! Using solos to build a vendors list is insanity. The ROI is not good enough, and you lose the opportunity to brand yourself. Doing it this way you will make some sales, but you will never make money that lasts and turns into more.

Solo ads can be cheap and very profitable if you know where to look and buy

There are many strategies possible. It seems to me that the important point is that all the viable, successful ones have the same three essential features in common.

Yes Solo ads are great. It is best to send the lead to a landing page where you have an optin that collects their name and the sends them to the affiliate offer. In this way you are building your list too

      Here's how I did it:

Solo ads => Squeezepage => Thank you page (It this was the Clickbank salespage. I made some money using this technique but I didn't get many sales.

Here's how I'm doing it now. THIS ROCKS!

Traffic => squeezepage => Freebie (with affiliate links) Follow up with bonusses if subscribers decide to buy trough my link.

(you must give your subscribers a reason to buy)

      Offer+bonus+deadline=$$$$$$

You will never know the answer until you have tested it. You also want to make sure that the solo ads you get is relevant to the offer that you are promoting. It seems very obvious but there are many people who are making this mistake. If I drive 300 unique clicks on the same offer and I am not getting any conversion, I will test it with another offer. Just my 2 cents.

    Yep they are...

    Find a Clickbank vendor...

Ask them to sale you a solo ad...

    Find a related product...

Build a simple squeeze page pre-selling the related CB product...

Then you build your list WHILE making sales...

    Rinse and repeat!

    Cheers,
    Coby

Yeah solo ads are a great source of traffic. You just want to make sure that the list you're sending to is relevant to the click bank offer.

I'd also suggest that you create some kind of freebie offer related to the CL product for the front end, before they see your paid CL offer. That way you generate more optins initially and generate some money on the back-end.

Plus, if they don't buy as soon as they optin, you'll have them on your list and have the opportunity to convert them into a paying customer later on via your email sequence.

You'll be far better off long term speaking if you promote your own
offers as a OTO or up-sell etc as soon as someone opts into your list.

But yeah of course if you want to use Clickbank as a way to make sales
and build your list at the same time...

...You'll need to make sure your squeeze page is as closely related to the
offer as possible and when they opt in they will already be warmed to the
    Clickbank offer you're promoting.

    Again you have to TEST!

    Don't assume just test.

Then tweak here and there until you hit the winning formula.

You can always ask the vendor of the product if they have any case
studies available from their best affiliates so you can get some idea
of what is working for them.

    Hope this helps.

    All the best
    Gavin

Use solo ads to build your list...ALWAYS collect the email address! Then you can market to YOUR list as many times as you want...Remember, you can feed a hungry man a fish and he will be satisfied for a day...but...If you teach him "TO FISH" he will be satisfied for life! The same applies to building YOUR OWN email list... In easier terms:
    Solo Ads....Landing Page...Affiliate Offer... Autoresponder.....$$$$$

As like many other Warriors have mention, you will want to make sure that you are collecting the email address before you direct it to your affiliate link. Even if they did not purchase the product when they see it for the first time, you will still be able to follow up with them through email.

You might need to edit your squeeze page and test promoting different products before you will be able to get the best conversion. Just bear in mind that the first few solo ads is for you to test the conversion so that you can tweak it to become better. It definitely works if you constantly tweak to get the best conversion.

If you are going to build your list, I would not do it with solo ads.

If you want more and more people on your list to buy from you once you start to build your list, I would go with pay per click advertising.

When you buy a solo ad from someone, just know that they are getting emails from other marketers as well and pay per click "opt ins" convert better then the people who come and opt into your list from solo ads.
