Something I've been working on

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be delving into selling information products over the coming weeks, months, years etc (don't worry, I'm not going to doing any of that "make money online" stuff...ugh).

I've been earning a side income since I was about 13-14 (I'm 18 now) but never took it further than that because I never felt too motivated with school in the way. Since I finished school at the end of last year however I've been getting a lot more done and everything is going quite brilliantly.

Anyways, to help myself I decided to map out the process I plan for customers use to use when they're buying selling information products from me. This process is a combination of both my own experience and some theory, but I feel it has come together pretty well.

I've spent the last few hours converting the flow chart into HTML and made it so you can click on any of the icons to find out more information. I reckon it's pretty useful, and I'm not trying to sell anything etc so don't worry bout that.

Check it out at mellowbusiness.com/sales

If there is something wrong with the process itself I don't think I could be bothered to change it for a while (I'd have the re-slice all the images in Photoshop, add the links back etc) but if you have any suggestions for content I can add to the descriptions for each stage in the process then I can add that pretty easily.

And yeah, check it out: mellowbusiness.com/sales

(I can't post links yet, so if someone could do that it'd make it easier for everyone)

:-)

    Hi, David,

Apart from being too big for my screen (1280 resolution instead of 1024) I think that this is a very useful training tool for those of us who haven't yet got this whole sales cycle off pat or for those of us who want a simple, expandable flow chart to remind ourselves of what should be happening.

I particularly like the clear graphics.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

Yeah, sorry about that. Like I said, this was at first for personal so I hadn't even thought about the resolution.

      Thanks for the comments.
