Is there any market for my idea?

Brainswirl is an app which makes remembering things easy and help you to study for exams and tests. Also it is more efficient than traditional study methods, because it collects in the text only the most requisite information you need to know. 1) Upload the information to your iphone or android phone (pdf and word format files). 2) Then fill the date, when your exam or test take place. 3) Press the start button and the app starts to collect only the useful keywords in the text you need to know, whereas to pass the exam or to get good marks in school. It does not collect unnecessary keywords. 4)The app repeats again these useful keywords which are collected in the text (keyword to keyword) until the day of the test or exam is in. As well you can choose the timeline, for example every 45 minute you get a new keyword sentence! Features: Studying for exams and tests, learning languages, memorizing people's names and faces, brushing up on geography mastering long poems even practicing guitar chords! You can add every material you want and categorize it!

Hope to hear critical, but honest feedback!

There is probably a hole in this somewhere but it sounds like something my kids would love for school. I can see applications for students and adults - but also sounds very robust and probably needs cloud space for computing? Coding and that 'stuff' is not where my talent lies - but if that's the case, then monthly fees could be included? That would make a nice ROI on development.

However - there should also be some disclaimer about the content input not being safe from hackers so people don't upload sensitive material and assume it is safe from downloads.

Interesting idea. I think students or anyone at school which requires lots of memorizing will need your app with the frequent usage of mobile device nowadays.

You can do well in 'how to study' 'how to get good grades' 'how to improve memory' markets if you market well.

Very good idea. I would have definitely loved to try it out when I was in school.

You should market this product like crazy via YouTube & Facebook. Target college students. There's so much savvy marketing methods you could use. Find some funny interesting gigs on Fiverr and use them to promote your product.

I would then buy some views (shameless plug) to give the video(s) that viral effect/look and start promoting heavy via Facebook.

When someone sees that your video has 10k views and the comments of how it helped them out on their test, they're gonna wonder what in the world are they missing out on.

Tell them to click the like button and then at the end, CLICK the link in the description or go to YOURSITE(dot)com and download the app.

After that, it's up to the app. If it's good, people will let you know. If it's bad, people will most definitely let you know.

You should then maybe look into promoting it to schools to help students study for tests.

This is where you could start getting free press (news & radio interviews) all directing people back to your app.

That might be your opporutunity to either make this app bigger than life it self via the app store...

...or sale it for a few 100k or even millions.

The possibilities are endless but none the less, you sound like you're on to something..

Wish you the best with your app and hope this helps

The idea sounds good, the question is how well it's implemented, i.e. what algos used to determine "the right" keywords?? Most frequent words are not necessarily the "right" words, so the algo has to be smart enough to sieve grain from chaff.

Sounds like an interesting idea but sounds pretty expensive, have you spoken to developers?

To implement all of that you would need a rock-solid platform. But I think the idea in itself is pretty interesting! Definitely a market for it in my opinion (I just finished University not too long ago).

The brain remembers things by storytelling, that's how people remember the random sequences of a 52 card pack they link each card to a story,

'Jack' was an 'Ace' pilot who had his 'Heart' set on tending the the 'Queens' garden. so he set off at '10' o'clock with 'Spade' in hand etc.etc.

I'm not sure that keywords would suffice, team up with a good psychologist or learning expert for more research on that, if you can get it endorsed by a celebrity 'memory man' then that would be a good marketing strategy (if somewhat expensive).

    Good luck and keep inventing!

Switch the two around and then you are onto something. There never should be a market for an idea. That's how you lose your shirt and go bankrupt.

The question should always be "Where can I find an Idea for this Market?"

Find the market first, then find a product that fills a hole.

So you want me to type everything from my textbox and class handouts into a word file and then you'll use it?
Why the hell would I spend all that time typing?

Ohh nobody did not get the point. I asked about mobile memory store(SD), beacuse I got into more specific niche, which works. Please people forget my older idea, it was disgracefully pointless. I have discovered much way better idea.

I dont want to spam, but I already made some fixes about the idea and I will reveal the full description, if my idea will win. If you have some time and passion go here: applits.com register and vote! You can vote for 10 ideas. Also you can vote for my app "dendroshot", if you like the concept of the idea. Thanks a lot!

So you don't want to spam but you are self promoting your own thread from almost a year ago and want us to go "vote" for your idea. I think that is called spam.
