Technology related products on ClickBank

Has anyone had any luck with them? I've just recently begun to promote some of the higher gravity technology related products on ClickBank. This includes things like iPad video lessons, computer virus protection software, etc.

I see most Internet marketers on here discussing actual IM products, real estate, etc. I'm just curious as to how other tech geeks have been doing.

    I'll answer this question David.

    As with anything else if you find the crowd that are having the problem the product you are promoting solves and it is a good offer with good sales copy and high gravity it should convert.

    Go to the newbie tech forums and search for the common problems your affiliate product solves. Take not of the keywords and set up a google alert to alert you every time the question arises on the tech forum.

    When it does get over there and answer it with your signature link in your profile sending them to a signup page with a lite report of the product. You can put together a 3 page report usually from the list of bullet points on the sales page.

    Once they are on your list send them some great content with the product link and as I said at the beginning if the offer is strong and the product solves the question you should make a little money.

    Lastly I would install prosper202 to check tracking and also to swap your links out if the product doesn't convert to a new product with changing lots of emails.

    Although I don't have direct experience promoting ClickBank products (I prefer to create my own), it seems like the technology sector may be a little oversaturated.

    Unless you have a website that goes directly with the niche of the product you're promoting, I would steer clear.

    Surprisingly, even though health & wellness/fitness is just as saturated if not more so, I have known people that have done really well in the industry because they chose a specific niche such as, Ab Workouts, and worked on providing as much quality info and videos as possible!

    It helps if you're actually doing it, providing that personal approach.

    By already having an informative website with a personal touch, people are more likely to trust you and any products you promote off Clickbank.

    So, if you want to go techy, you need to be the guy that is either promoting the latest technology like Youtube Stars such as SoldierKnowsBest or LockerGnome, or find your own specialized niche where you'll stand out.

      It's funny you mention them. I actually have a direct contact with Chris Pirillo, so we talk now and then. My primary YouTube channel is focused around tech, which currently has 72,000+ subscribers. However, I've recently created a new YouTube channel specifically to promote affiliate products, which I am currently experimenting with.

      Thanks for the great advice, everyone! I'll keep at it and see what happens.

    They convert very well. In my opinion you should not worry too much about the competition as that always happens in a niche that sells. The key is finding the people that are actively looking for what you have to offer. Guest blogging works well if you have some decent content and forums can work as well.

    In short that stuff sells and there is a huge demand for it!
