What is the Cheapest Image Site for Commercial Use?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi,

I'm looking for sources with a lot of images, where the price per image is as low as possible (or even free)...

and where the images are:

- Without watermarks
- Not "have to" link back to the site
- Rights to use it commercially
- Rights to change its size to make it fit on my website or any product
- I don't have to contact the individual owner of each image and wait for an response (for 3 months) from him/her before using the photo

and I wonder, the free images at Morguefile, are they free to use commercially?

I use either bigstock or iStockPhoto pretty cheap really high quality images

depositphotos has inexpensive images. They are as cheap as 10 cents each in quantity and 50 cents for just one.

pixmac is also inexpensive. It is approx one dollar per pic. istockphoto is now charging 40 credits for a lot of photos and that is just too much money for use in a blog or a web page.

What do you mean by use it commercially?

Most images will come with license restrictions, even if you purchase the more expensive extended licenses. For example most licenses will not allow you to create a product and sell it or give it away where the end users have direct access to those original image source files such as in a Photoshop PSD file. But if you create templates and sell them, so long as the image has been modified from the original then in most extended licenses, that's ok. Things like that.

So just asking if they allow commercial use is useless because it depends on how you plan to use those images commercially and each and every site has different license conditions which you must read before using.

  I thought to use it on my websites, videos (free or paid), and PDF reports (free or paid), as a part of the content, or as a promotion material.
  
  When it comes to modification, I think to change the photo size to make it fit, and maybe I can put some text in the image.

Cheapest is free & I use this site - everystockphoto - searching free photos

I couldn't advise you on how the licensing works, do your due diligence.

canstockphoto.com, it doesn't seem cheap to me but they provide high quality stock images at very reasonable price.

free and commercial use?

Flickr, Google images.

You could search for keyword specific photos that have creative commons licensing with either CC BY(Attribution ) or CC BY-SA(Attribution-ShareAlike) licenses. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/

ex: google images > CC BY-SA +keyword

  iClipart.com has a dirt cheap subscription model... you can download up to 100 images a day for $13/wk, or $50 for a whole year. They have a massive collection of high quality photos too - it's not just clipart.

Normally I will rather pay $1-$3 since paid stock images are
most of the times much better than the rest.

Normally if you just use it on your website, just give credits and name the source and you should be fine if you are using images from flickr or similar sites.
