What is a good site to market handmade crafts or artwork on? Has anyone used any that worked really well?

I tried artfire back when it first came out, but didn't get any sales off of it. Never tried etsy though. I have my own online store with my items, but I wanted another place where there were people searching specifically for handmade items.

In Germany Dawanda is the biggest, but I think they're international too.

I agree that etsy is a good one. I have never sold anything on there but I know that several had had great luck with it. A friend of mine has sold paintings on there before and I think that she did well for herself. Or you could also try to sell your stuff on ebay.
