Using RAP for membership site?

I currently use Fantasos (JVManager 2) to run my main membership site. I'm thinking of setting up a few smaller membership sites, mainly for my members to promote as affiliates.

One key advantage that RAP has over Fantasos is that you can let the affiliate earn 100% commission and have the amount deposited into their Paypal account directly. However, I'll need to purchase an additional plugin to enable this feature in RAP.

I've been using Fantasos for a while, so I'm comfortable with it. The downside is that I've to manually pay the affiliates each time.

IMHO, if I were the affiliate, I'll highly prefer instant payment into my account. It's a greater motivator than having to wait for my affiliate paycheque each month. So if I use the RAP setup, I might get more affiliates.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Which plugin do you need to enable this feature?

      Great minds think alike!!

I was pondering this a few days ago. If there's a plugin that does that, I'd sure like to know what it is.

      Hi Roger,

RAP comes with the autopay directly into affiliates' account already, but not for a subscription model. For that, you need a plugin that supports continued affiliate commissions for subscriptions. I can't recall the url of the product off the top of my head right now, but it's priced at $67 if I'm not mistaken.

        Hi Sirius,

It wouldn't be possible to do an alternating monthly Paypal subscription - eg one month you get paid, one month they get paid. But you could do a straight split so that they get one subscriber then you get one.

It should be fairly easy to make such a plugin if the API allows. My Instacash system does this so that I can have affilaites on my membership sites, but Instacash is invitation only and not for general sale.

Perhaps Amember could be modified to do what you want?
