How do you advertise your services?

Hello!

I would like to offer my services (of course nothing unsavoury) and would like to know how to go about it.

I have put an ad in Craigslist London under the Service section, but the response so far has been poor. I think this service is in demand, but I just don't know how and where to advertise it.

Please do not point me to Fiverr, as $5 won't be worth providing this service.

I would love to hear from experienced warriors!

    You can also put your Ads in backpage, social networking sites like facebook, twitter, linkedin etc.
    Make video Ads and submit it video sites.

      I have never heard of videos ads. Is it just a normal Youtube video in which I advertise my services? :confused:

    Do you have a Facebook page (instead of FB profile) about your service? If you have it, you can buy ads on FB. If you don't have it, you need to create a FB page.

    You can take the scattered approach and advertise everywhere, but it's much more effective to figure out your perfect customer profile which will include places and sites that they visit and just advertise directly to your target market.
