Did you know that certain Twitter tools will allow you to post pre-scheduled "tweets" (or Twitter posts) throughout the day, week or even month? Tools like Twittertise allow you to create a series of "tweets" and schedule them for various times and days. This can be particularly helpful if you run something like auctions. You can keep your followers up-to-date on when your auctions are opening and closing without have to visit Twitter every hour. Just start your day off by creating & scheduling your tweets, and Twittertise will do the rest!

I use tweetlater.com for that and it is great for posting when i am occupied with something else and can add quite a few sales to my paypal account.

OK I checked out TweetyBot and TweetLater, they all do the trick but I still think Twittertise does it better for 2 reasons.
1.) Advanced Stats and Tracking
2.) No fees and nothing to download or install

or maybe I am just use to it lol

Another cool tool I use is GetSatisfaction
GetSatisfaction allows you to keep track of mentions of your company on Twitter. The best way to keep your company's reputation in check is to know what others are saying about it. With its RSS feeds, Twitter can be a great tool to do just that!

Does anybody run an RSS feed directly into their Twitter Account?

I have my Twitter updated with informative articles twice every half hour - on autopilot.

I still post my regular posts - it just keeps my followers informed of whats going on in the world of internet marketing!

Be careful when using these programs. I just lost my Twitter account, possibly due to a hacker. I set up Tweet later for some fun posts.. and then the next morning I can't log into Twitter. Twitter support has been no help at all. It's been over a week and still no resolution
I don't know if Tweetlater had anything to do with it, but it was very coincidental that I used them and suddenly it doesn't work.
