What should i go with?

I earlier had success with list building with buying ppc traffic.

Here is what i have done:

I have choose a health niche, and setup a squeeze page then sent ppc traffic to my squeeze page and collected optins and there by got sales. But with this methods, i failed at profits and gain. I.e i spent too much and could not able to see much money left for me as profit. So i left it.

Later, i took the same niche and started a blog and started ranking keywords on google. I was able to rank some low competitive keywords on top and for every month i was able to get 2-4 sales.

Now, i wanted to expand my link building more but could not find guest blogs in my niche...should i go for purchasing private blog networks?

Or should i start over the list building method with ppc traffic?

I had success with both of them. But scared to start the ppc method again and same with seo of taking too much time to get the results.

Suppose, say i have choosen a product related to "hemorrhoids" in health niche. I don't find much forums to rely on free traffic sources to have my signature and start helping others.

I am also planning on trying solo ads, but due to my niche i've choosen, will i get solo ads for any niche i wanted for?

Hoping for a help from you guys...

Your biggest reason for your failure is your fear of failure. This is causing you to jump back and forth.

Should you have stayed with your first method, which I recommend, today you would be sitting on a larger list that you can continue to upsell product from within the niche.

BUT you've left that and spent months on SEO but that only produced two or three sales. Seems like you did not make good improvements on your ranking. God knows how much time you've spent on this.

My friend. Listen to me. Stay focused. Go back to your first method -list building.

    1) setup your PPC or buy solo ads from with your niche
    2) Make sure you test the heck out of your squeeze page to make sure it converts week.
    3) How are you capturing your leads? How are you feeding them content? How are you selling your products? I could spend days talking about this. This backend system, follow up emails, freebie for conversion all have to be solid.

Just work on one thing and make it better day after day. Stop jumping around.

I also agree that you should go back to your first method. One of the main problem most marketers have is that they don't have any capital. If you can afford to pay for PPC, then I highly recommend that you invest time and money on that. The list is where you make most of your money in the long run and since you can afford to pay for PPC I recommend that you stick to it.

I would recommend trying Solo Ads. You can find lists for almost any niche if you look hard enough. Try searching Google for your niche keyword. You could also read this as it explains how to do this further:

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your suggestions. Really, i was worried about whether i will get success or not with ppc. I will make a plan to run this ppc campaign again. SEO is taking too much of time and having little bit of success with it, if Google gives any algo change again my ranking fluctuates. This time if i loose some money also, i will try to find some solution. This forum gives me so much inspiration.

Thank you all for helping me ..

I think it depends on what the niche is. If your target is desperate and looking for an immediate solution, I wouldn't try to get them to opt-in first. I would send them straight to a sales page. The same with someone that is using buying keywords to search.

If your target does more browsing for info, then try to capture their email so you can market to them when they are ready.

You should also test your ads before you spend money on them.

You were on to something there with the list building campaign via PPC. My advice is to hyper-target your campaign. Find out exactly what they want, their needs, fears, etc. Then base your campaign around these things.
