hello

I made some bid on flippa.. I won it.. So seller had message me that i won the auction..

I replied to get some proof that i'll get same thing like he advertised on his auction page..

I just asked him to screen shot the proof..

But he refused to give.. Now he warned me he'll give me bad review if i don't make payment soon..

He only had $2k succesful transaction.. I've made decision to pay him but if im not get what he was advertised can i make paypal dispute and win?

Yes you will be able to win the Paypal dispute if there isn't a "middle man" holding the transaction.

Maybe you should have done that before bidding...

Well, as far as i know by bidding you are entering into a binding contract but maybe someone can clarify.

Paypal does not (From my experience) cover you for digital purchases.

Depends on the terms of service that you agreed. Also depends if you used escrow.
I think when you use escrow it's specified that you can check the product/website for about 30 days. But i think you still have good chances to chargeback.

Have you actually won a dispute when it involves a digital download? Contact Paypal and see what they tell you...

Put the funds into Escrow. If he's being a jerk about it, let him give you a bad review...

To win a digital dispute with PayPal, I believe it would have to be an unauthorized transaction.

Lesson learnt. Do your due diligence BEFORE bidding.

Put yourself in the seller's shoes. You're selling your site. Someone has made a winning bid - now they are asking you a load of questions. How would you feel? I'm sure you wouldn't be happy and I'm sure you'd be thinking of giving them bad feedback.

Also, only bid on sites that accept payment by Escrow. This acts as protection for both buyer and vendor. Another lesson learnt.

Hopefully your deal will go through ok and you will be happy with your purchase.

If you have any worry about it and he won't play ball and give simple proof
then I would play safe and let him give you a bad feedback.

If he is an honest marketer then he will give you all the proof that you ask for.

If it's not too late to use Escrow then go for it.

You will have the chance to examine the site and reject or accept it thereafter..

Honestly he is jerking you around! I'd suggest Escrow too if it's possible! Have you checked if it's still possible? Otherwise, read out the Paypal dispute rules, you'll probably be able to find something in there! And, if nothing else pans out then let him give you a bad review! I think you can respond and explain, can't you?

Anyway, I hope you do get things sorted out asap!

    Good luck

    Yoan
