Is this a comprehensive Link Cloaking Solution for Clickbank?

The only code I've found that:

1) Doesn't use flash - which maybe 10% have disabled in their browsers

2) Doesn't display the clickbank affiliate ID In the browser address window on arrival at the sales page - which may put some people off, and may have other undesirable results.

is .......

<!-- Howdy -->

<html><head>

<title>My Favourite Products</title>

<script>window.status = ' ';</script></head><frameset rows="100%,*" frameborder="0" border="0">

<frame src="affiliate link" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="auto" noresize>
<!-- Note: Make sure to leave quotation marks. -->

</frameset><noframes><p>Sorry, but it appears you are using a Web browser that does not support frames.</p></noframes></html>

You can even add to this by encrypting the affiliate url, so it can't be seen on the originating page as shown here:
Cloak Your Affiliate Links!

Looks, to me, to be a good solution ---- except! I've read, and the reason wasn't given, that this method which uses frames? may cause problems - something to do with 'new features added to Internet Explorer'

Is there any known problems with using this method at ClickBank?

Or at any of the other networks?

Thanks

    the problem i see is that the person goes to your site and then see another site in the frame, so the web address is different, thus they might see your site as "fishy"

    in exp of clickbank promoting many sites will cookie your affialite link and then go back to index.php.

    Either way once the person gets to the site thru your link you should be cookied so there should be no major problems

      Hey Richard!

      Thanks for the reply.

      Hmm...... but, if you put the whateverproduct.html page that holds your cloaking code in a, say, 'go' subdirectory on your domain, wouldn't they see www.mydomain.com/go/whateverproduct.html in their browsers address window?

    Better yet, use a directory name like "recommends" -- even though it is long the word itself lends credibility to your URL. http://mydomain.com/recommends/affiliateproduct.html -- tells it like it is. I've seen this done by several A level marketers and it gives a strong impression.
