HI.. I have a question...

I ordered a gig last night from fiverr to get an SEO plan for one of my service sites... The seller decided to tell me that " fiverr does not allow services to be given to "my kind" of website." After looking at their TOS I don't see anything that says that. Does anyone know about this service site rule? Any advice would be great please?

I do not personally know what their ToS say but ask the seller to tell you what paragraphs it is in. He might be making that shit up? Did you pay via paypal? If so you can just file a chargeback. It's a virtual item/service so you'll most likely win the dispute. Include all proofs you can.

I'm not sure about the TOS but I would just get a refund and look for another seo service fiverr gig, there are plenty.

I agree with this post 100%. Just get a refund (which you can do easily on Fiverr) and look for another seller.

I did pay via paypal.. I might just need to cancel the whole thing after all. I really just wanted that darn SEO plan..

I offer social media packages on the website.

Thanks for the advice everyone.. I thought I was being very bad for a moment there.

LOL.. I know the feeling... Sometimes the service looks so good. I would ask him to show me exactly where it says it's against the TOS. Maybe he has a competing site and doesn't want to help you.

If he doesn't respond, get your money back and find another....

Just request a mutual cancellation thru Fiverr. After all why would you want to work with someone who doesn't want to work with you?

Yeah dude, you can just cancel
so that you get your cash back in your fiverr account. EZY PEAZY
and hey if that particular provider is not willing to do the job
for you there are tons of others that can provide the same
      service perhaps even better.

Very true. I never considered that he might have a similar site to my own. I put a request for cancellation. With any luck I can find another gig similar to his but with a nicer person. Thanks for the advice everyone!

I have never heard of such a thing. You should ask for a refund. And then you may want to inquire from the seller before buying, if they would be willing to seo on your site.

It honestly sounds like the seller didn't want to do it for some reason. It could be he is behind scheduled, or just some reason he is not stating.

Dunno how true was your statement. But most of the fiverr seo gigs are nothing but crap which actually hurts the ranking of a website. So, I always prefer to choose limited manual backlink offer.
Not "5000 backlinks for $5" type of gigs.
Rather I prefer to choose "20 high PR manual article submission for $5".

That seller is so correct if:

    1. What your site is offering is also been sold on fiverr.

Unfortunately, I don't have a link to claim that but one email to fiverr support will proof me and your SEO seller right.
