Hostgator promo code not working, need advice on hosting plans?

Can anyone recommend some of the best reseller hosting plans currently available?

I was previously using webhostingbuzz which was only $13 per month but it started getting a lot of downtime so I recently switched to the lowest hostgator reseller which I thought I was getting a 25% discount on every month and only having to pay $18.71 instead of $24.95 per month. It was from this thread:
http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...romo-code.html

However that thread is wrong and hostgator have now said the discount code is only valid for the first month and it is now $24.95 month which seems expensive to me nowadays.

Can somebody recommend some other reliable cheaper hosting elsewhere?

Or if anyone knows a hostgator code that works every month?

Cheers in advance!

All of Hostgators coupons are only ever for the first month and they usually state this quite clearly. I guess it depends where you got the coupon code from and what they were trying to have you believe.

$25 per month too expensive for hosting? Reseller hosting? C'mon man. This is business. If you aren't willing to pay $25 per month for reputable hosting then are you really that serious about things?

I don't mean to sound harsh but I'm just amazed by how little people are willing to invest in themselves and their business and then they wonder why their business goes nowhere.

$25 per month for reseller hosting seems very inexpensive and fair to me. You should make that back with ONE client. These days you always get what you pay for. So don't be scared to invest in yourself and your business.

I only have domains with "For Sale" signs on them, so cheapest (but still reliable) hosting is best for me. Thanks anyway.

      No - you are wrong.

The HG deal applies to ONE PAYMENT. If you set up the account for monthly payments, the special price applies for the first month only.

BUT - if you pay for a full year of hosting (or 3 months or 6 months or whatever other terms they have) - you get the special deal for that one-time payment.

One year of the acct you have would be $300 - but I got one for $150 for the first year by paying for it in advance.

If you want a reseller acct to host multiple sites you have to look at cost/site. The more sites you add to the acct, the cheaper it is to host each site. If your hosting doesn't have reliable uptime - your sites suffer.

        That's what I missed and that's what I'll do, thanks a bunch.
