Hey guys, quick question that had me thinking this morning:

What would you consider "good conversions" on a free WSO?

I've got an OTO set up on the back end (just one) that only a few people have bought. It's pretty cheap as well, so I haven't recouped off of running the thread.

I'm ok with that, as it added to my list by about 170, but these aren't proven buyers, obviously. Setting up what I think is a "good" follow up sequence now, but wondering what people consider good conversions on a free WSO.

I know that a lot of people come on when they see the word "free," so I'm not AS bummed about not making more OTO sales, but would definitely like other opinions.

Thanks!!

-Mike

From actual thread views to subscribers maybe like 40%, from actual landing page clicks maybe as high as 80/90%.

Just a guess though, never ran a free WSO.

Thanks for the input. By that estimate I'm right on track, but would love to hear more opinions!

It really depends on what you wanted to achieve for your investment. I have heard 40% opt-in being a fairly decent rate.
Now I would start buying solo ads and doing some list swapping to grow your list. And most important of all is to provide them with helpful information and only promote products that you would tell your best mates about.
    Hope this helps!
