Is ClickBank's guide to "infopreneurship" a waste of money or not?

Hi,

Yesterday I received an email from Clickbank informing me that they (the actual ClickBank guys) put together a guide teaching information marketing for $27... I am not putting here the title but if you got the email you know what I am talking about.

At first I thought "great they are also trying to squeeze some money from their own customers..." but somehow I was left wondering because one thing is sure, they do have the data and they do have the experience... so perhaps this guide may actually contain something valuable besides the usual generic advices of "build a web site, get traffic, grab their emails and send them affiliate links" sort of stuff.

Has anyone bought the product? Can anyone tell if it's any good?

Thanks.

Have you bought it? Or are you against the idea of information marketing in general? Any elaboration on the subject is welcome.

      Thanks.

Only just heard of it through this post, I would probably think you can find similar, if not, more information right here on the warrior forum.

And why are all these informational booklets ending in 7?

    It's always $27 or $37 or $47 what's up with that lol

How about a nice round $25 or $40 or $24.99!

    Just a thought

Most think that it was God who created man in his own image but it was us who created God in ours.

And a very good one, for those willing to test rather than just making assumptions (as almost everyone else does). Here's some reality: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7506670

Thanks Alexa for the post on prices, it's interesting how sometimes a higher price can convert a lot better than a lower one. Evidently the perception of the value of something can often be determinant.

        Thanks.

Do they offer a 60-day money back guarantee?

      @travlinguy

Interestingly in the sales page they don't mention it but in the purchase page they do mention the 60 days money back guarantee.

Actually I am looking with interest at how they built their sales page, obviously they must have implemented all the things that their data shows to be working and left out the non essential ones.

If anyone is interested in having a look google "clickbank discount infopreneur kit", result #1.

It's actually quite cheesy I think, especially the "This isn't for everyone" section, but obviously they must think it works. The new graphics is very good though. I am curious to see if they'll change it in the next few days...

Over the years I've had what you might call a love/hate relationship with Clickbank. They've gotten much stricter in the past couple of years because of pressure from various regulatory bodies.

Still, if they're putting out a guide on marketing info products I'd expect it would be damned good. Clickbank is the authority player. You'd think they'd know what they're talking about. It would be like Tom Brady writing a book on developing the skills to be a pro quarterback. And with the 60-day guarantee, to me it's a no-brainer.

Totally agree with you. We can't imagine that who is giving (e.g) tips on how to reduce refund rate can't deliver good product. It's a good product i think.

I don't know about that book, but I can answer your question about the price of $27. The number 7 has a psycological affect to it so does prices ending in 5, and 9.

Why do you think that television prices are around $29.95, or even $19.95 and such. Those prices sound cheaper.

Now as far as the quality of that Click Bank e-book, that I don't know. I would try it out and if you're not satisfied, then get a refund. However, like one other poster said, ClickBank is an authority on information products so the book must be good.

Unfortunately if you need to ask the question you will never know whether the answer you receive is correct. For example look at how many times we see legal questions asked on this forum, answered by amateur lawyers.
