Need Help Getting Started

I'm just getting started and need some suggestions for where to get niche market information. I am new at this and need something that is clear and step by step info not just an ad to sell me something.

Help will be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Warrior Forum Colag123.

You've come to the the right place, there are several threads on this forum discussing niche marketing, techniques, tools, strategies, etc...

However, the scope of what you are asking is VERY broad, and you will likely find it difficult to get helpful answers, as such. Try to narrow your focus to the area in which you need help.

1.) What niche are you considering?

(i.e. weight loss, dating, how to train your cat, etc...)

2.) What marketing practices do you intend to use to promote your products, services, or affiliate products?

(i.e. email marketing, article/content syndication, paid traffic, etc...)

3.) Do you have a domain & Hosting?

    (i.e. GoDaddy, Hostgator, etc...)

As you can see there is too much we don't know about - to give you any real advice, other than read, research, and troll the forum for information useful to aiding in your success. Your best bet is to give some indication as to what you know, where you're at within your journey, and where you'd like to go... surely then, you'll get laser-like advice/feedback.

... just don't use Godaddy or Hostgator (EIG brand).

There are better host. Cheaper, too! Stablehost, for example.

How does this help the OP?

Don't drink Coke... Drink Pepsi...

While I appreciate your opinion, it is really of no use here. Besides, it was an

    Welcome to the forum bud.

To find a profitable niche all you have to do is go to clickbank . com and then create an account so you can research their product archives. This will give you a good indication of profitable niches. Then you can use the Google Keyword Tool to do keyword research for your site.

To find a profitable niche - you want to find market where people are already spending money. It is better if they have a want/desire or important problem they wanted solved.

A few simple ways to go about doing this are...

    DUMMIES:
By going to dummies.com you can research to see what books are being sold. They have already researched to see what the public is demanding - you simply just have to scroll through the titles and see what peaks your interest.

    MAGAZINES
Similar with dummies - either go to magazines.com or a local magazine stand and have a browse through. Each magazine is a profitable niche.

Advertisers spend a great deal of time and money researching what people want to buy and read about.

    GOOGLE KEYWORD TOOL
By going to Google's keyword tool you can type in a phrase to see how many monthly searches it gets.

If the keyword phrase has 3,000 or more monthly searches then you have found a profitable niche. Some phrases could be "how to become pilot", "cake decorating", "muscle mass for skinny men"

There isn't just one place to get market information for your niche. Forums in your particular niche are a good place to start. If you want to make money from a group of people, you have to know how they think, what motivates them to buy, and about the actual products and stuff in your niche. That's why it's recommended that you choose a niche market that you're already a part of when you're first starting out.

Does that make sense? I'll give you an example. When I was first starting out, I didn't know what niche to go into but soon came to realize that I could go into a niche that was related to what I went to school for (got a degree in Spanish and minored in international business). The learn Spanish niche is a profitable one, and because I was in the niche, I had already used some books and various products that I could write reviews on. I was basically able to write from my head. I hope this helps.

Try to pick a topic to create products about that you are passionate about, then when you're creating content you won't get bored and fed up. If there are ads running in the search engines for keywords on what you want to create content about, it's a good indication that money is being made.
