How much do you figure this would cost to be outsourced for articles?

I'm just about to start looking for a great article writer for a new project of mine, basically doing offline marketing...but building backlinks to the company's site using Web 2.0 and article marketing...

So before I head over to elance etc. I wanted to get a ballpark quote area for the following:

1) A 4 paragraph - 300 to 400 word article on the companies niche (health, construction, legal stuff etc.) - with each paragraph re-written 3 times. (which I will then use content composer to create mostly unique articles from the variations)

2) Another 400 word article on the niche for my blog

3) Approx 5 to 10 - 300+ word articles for EzineArticles on the niche

The articles would be about whatever, as long as it was on topic for the niche...

So if I was doing a site for a local fitness gym...the articles could be on the benefits of losing weight, or fitness equipment etc.

I'm more focused on the unique content for SEO and backlink...not on converting the reader since only people living in my City would really be able to convert into buyers.

Anyone have an idea of how much each (or all) of those things would cost me? (I'd be including that in the setup cost for the business of course)

Also, any ideas or recommendations for quality writers /companies who'd be able to deliver such things?

Check out GetArticlesDone - Article Writing Service - I use them all the time and they have reasonable prices with decent work. They offer articles with the paragraphs rewritten 3 times for UAW for only $6.65 for the original plus 2 rewrites.

Hrmm this might actually work best, as this will be something that I plan to expand very quickly, which means I might be doing "package orders" such as the one above 5 - 10x a day and would need someone / business that can keep up.

However I will read up on the examples of the other writers that posted in this thread, and may give each of you a "test run" to see your quality and delivery times.

You never know, one of you might win all my business instead of G.A.D!

Any other feedback is still appreciated, comments, etc.

As an article writer and seller of travel articles I can tell you that price is not the only factor.

There are three things you want to look for

    1) quality
    2) service
    3) price

All three are negotiable...LOL If you are using the articles to build an authority site you will indeed want quality.

Another option is to buy PLR and rewrite them yourself with the knowledge of your keywords and your niche.

You can also go to http://www.odesk.com and have writers bid on your requirements and ask them for sample articles. If you want them to be original and unique make sure you have an agreement in place that whatever work is done for you cannot be distributed in any other form. This may cost you more but may be worth it to you.

    Much success to you.

Assuming you go with 10 300 word articles for EZine in with everything else you are adding in, you are looking at around $138 on the high end and $92 on the low end. That is figuring between $0.02 to $0.03 per word which is how many of the writers figure it. Anything below this and you are in jeopardy of compromising quality for price which is never a good trade off.

Actually I would not say this is an accurate figure as there are many writers here on the WF that charge 10+ cents a word...

My rate for all of the above would be $220 total. (Again using the 10- 300 word article and including the rewrites of paragraphs etc.)

Do a search on my name on the WF and you will find many recommending my services.
