congrats, first sale is always the hardest earned, and always the most satisfying. take what you've learned and keep going with it. slowly set yourself higher goals for sales per month, up it to sales per week, and soonyou'll be bumping your sales per day goals before you know it!

Hi Matt...

A top level redirect is when http://mydomain.com is redirecting ti my affiliate page.

http://mydomain.com/affiliate is not a toplevel domain.

Ezinearticles doesn't allow sub-domain to redirect, but they do allow top level to do so.

hj,
Congratulations on your first income from internet marketing! Now you know how to do it. Keep a list of the steps you took for the website that brought the income. Go build a few more similar to it and replicate your promotional methods. Keep building links for all your sites. Keep promoting until you see more income.

Then go pick a second type of income stream and learn it. Don't want to have all your income eggs in one basket!
