ATN PROS: About to Pivot - To start fresh or rebuild
Background:
I am going to change my business model. My existing site was my first foray into e-commerce/seo etc. I had a custom site created using PHP but the code was sloppy, the architecture was not solid, and SEO sucked. It has been around for 4 years now and has a PR4 and ok brand recognition. I did both black hat(damn you WF WSO lol) and white hat seo. I followed the link wheeling strategy, etc. and may or may not have been hit by the google slap. The site has not been taken care for the past year. Ranking was never really good. The domain name also has a number in it.
My Question for you Pros:
1) Should i refresh the site because of the good domain age and PR rank?
2) Should I just start fresh with a new domain name and SEO strategy.
