Creating an Article Directory on Wordpress

At the moment, the PLRBoutique FREE PLR Club works via email. People opt-in through the website and receive weekly emails with free PLR resources, news about upcoming releases on the site and a PLR article or two to use the majority of which are original and written by us.

I would like to archive these articles and others that are available through the use of an article database / directory.

Our site is built on Wordpress so the question, is there an article directory plugin or something similar that would make this easier for me. I have looked at the 'Article Directory' plugin on wordpress.org, but is that really the best available?

Any advice on how to approach this, plugins to take a look at or in general about the idea would be appreciated.

  • If your articles are Posts or you have created a custom post type for your articles, WordPress has categories that you can archive these into. You should be doing this for the various PLR articles - topics.

    Putting the articles in Categories creates an archive. Each article lists in reverse chronological order on the front or blog page. If you don't want several of the posts to show on the front page, you can set (Settings - Reading) the number of blog pages to show at most.

    If the articles are pdf's, there is a plugin called WP Publication Archive that may work.

    I have not tested it so not sure if it is exactly what you may need. I hope this helps.

  • I have used this one before, it's good for wordpress, but the owner
    hasn't updated it for a while:

    It's functional though and should be fine for what you want.
