Direction needed from the some friends...

I recently got a job working with a company that builds custom APPS for businesses........so that the business owner can stay closer to his employees, and customers, and run everything through the APP.

I am trying to help my company come up with the best ways to market it and get business owners to speak with us.

Our primary focus has been perfecting the software, not marketing.

Please help.

    Get a website up first, then a good social media strategy - preferably on networks where you find companies and not individuals (i.e. LinkedIn not Facebook for example). Once everything is up, make an introductory offer with a very good deal in order to get some references and testimonials.
    Well there may be other ways but that's what I would try.
    Did you study your competition? In terms of online presence I mean.

    In B2B sales, picking up the phone and calling
    is one of the best ways to get sales.

    Old skool methods like direct mailers work too.

    If your price is high enough, you can recruit an
    at-home-sales force to sell for you. If you can
    create residual income, you can attract top of
    the line sales people who love to sell.
