Has any one been banned for using affiliate links in kindle?

Hi,

I will be submitting my ebook to amazon very soon. i have two affiliate links that are perfectly in line with the content. There is no adveritising. They appear as a part of the whole process described in the book.

How strict is Amazon regarding this? And suppose i get banned, will i never be able to publish another ebook there?

Why not add a link to your own website, rather than an affiliate link?

The links are redirected through my own site if that's what you mean.

Then you aren't placing affiliate links in your content. Or are you?

It's redirected affiliate link. A cloaked one. Via the website on which i'll be selling the ebook.

      ^^^ There's your answer!

Get a good funnel setup on your site and have an 'About the Author' page with links to your website.

Be careful with that. Maybe send an email to amazon support to clearify what you are about to do. Don't risk your account!

I'm thinking of doing that. But i'm pretty sure they'll say no.

If you think they will say no, then ask them anyways, why risk your account if you think they won't allow it? That's like saying I'm going to get burned if I jump in that fire, but I'm going to jump in anyways.

Worse thing they can say is no.

    Hi,

I have a client with a nutrition book on Kindle and she linked out to products she recommends (like a portioned plate) with her Amazon affiliate account. Amazon has sold hundreds of her books with no problem.

I've had cloaked links (through my own domain) in my books for months now. Without any problem at all. I didn't try putting affiliate links directly though, but I think as long as you cloak them you should be OK.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?
