There aren't really that many good MMO products on Clickbank. Most of them are over hyped have high refund rates.

Might wanna search outside CB, create your own product or market tools and services to them

I agree with this. Some of the refund rates on MMO products are ridiculous.

So why are you moving on from those products? Didn't you get any success doing it?

I'd say it would be better to concentrate on getting to know one product and promoting it well, and getting some good results...

    It's about quality, not quantity.

Pretty much the only thing I promote on clickbank is plugins - virtually all the MMO stuff is over hyped stuff.....in my opinion...

In the past, a lot of Clickbank MMO products were very overhyped, and combined with their 60 day refund policy, refund rates were often very high. I think it is getting better now, they are a lot stricter about what products they'll approve, but it's early days yet.

In any case, you should only be promoting something you have used yourself or can vouch for - there are a lot of good products out there, but a lot of rubbish too, so you have to do your homework.

    It doesn't matter
which of those products are any good.

The important point to understand is that with MMO and IM products, many of the "target audience" are themselves ClickBank affiliates, and they're not going to buy the product through your hoplink when they can perfectly legally buy it through their own, are they?

For me, this is the top reason (of many reasons) not to promote any IM/MMO products from ClickBank, as an affiliate. I think anyone who's actually making a living from ClickBank will tell you the same thing. It's one of those "terribly obvious, once you actually think about it" things.

I advise you to promote other, non-MMO/IM products from ClickBank. Or to promote MMO/IM products anywhere other than ClickBank. The combination of ClickBank and IM/MMO products is just a way of not getting paid many/most of your affiliate commissions. It makes no sense at all, really, does it?

True, but I can't think of another sort of niche to get started in.

So, "start with one where you won't be paid your commissions"? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Go to a newsagents' or a big library and look at 100 of the weekly/monthly magazines. Those all represent markets (each normally containing many niches) in which large numbers of people are regularly spending enough money for "providers" to buy advertising in them for 4/5/6-figure amounts of money. There'll be money available online in almost all of them. (And ClickBank products for many of them, too).

There are hundreds of niches on ClickBank, and about 15,000 products. You've picked probably the only areas in which you won't be paid for many/most of your sales!

I use to make some good money in clickbank and there is still money to be made there, but I myself say that the money is in CPA's in my opinion.

I don't promote any MMO products on Clickbank. But when they came out with their star rating system, I downloaded their xml file into a database on my server. I don't know if this will help you any, but these are the five star product vendors (meaning they have very low refunds) in the e-business/e-marketing category when they first came out with the star rating system, lowest gravity first:

The best products are ones you have used yourself and found useful in some way. By using the product yourself - it will help you promote it to your subscribers - telling them what is good and bad about it.

You should get out of MMO and go into a niche where you can build a full backend income. One time sales aren't popping - even if all you do is free marketing. MMO is straight, but don't get wrapped up about it like it's an instant pass to freedom land.
