40% email open rate :)

Hi Guys,

I have been around the internet marketing scene for about 3 years, I just did a copy writing course and then did a squeeze page and got a near 45% opt in rate. I just did a campaign for a hotel and got a 40% open rate and a 1% conversion and climbing from 1 email.

I'm not about to pitch any products here, but i am offering help to others, no win, no fee

    But can I ask how much money did that make though? Optin rates don't hold much connection to your overall profit. A higher optin rate does not always mean a higher profit.

    You need to be tracking your customer value. That's what's important. Unless your customer value increased then it doesn't mean a whole lot.

    I would much rather have a smaller optin rate with better quality leads than a large optin rate of people who are not that interested in what I have to offer or were just entering bogus email addresses.

    The warriors above are right, it will not matter unless you are getting a good return on investment. I once had a 50% opt in rate, which was rare, but it was focused on an extremely targeted audience. I go sales, but not enough that I wanted.

    40.7% open (544 opens) 1397 list size currently for a hotel, 5 sales within the first day 13 sales after 5 days offering a weekend getaway.

    The squeeze page i did just for twitter offering a free product (not report) the words "free report" everybody sees everywhere.

    I'm really looking to see just what i can do, i'm genuinely here to help people struggling with sales copy, i struggled for ages and nobody helped me...

    To be honest, i did the job for some friends who run a hotel, i did it to get some more experience across more niches, they got a very good ROI! 3 sales to cover my costs and that was risk free

    shows opens, unopens,bounced, clicks, unsubs, complaints

    can't tell who has deleted. it does however tell how many times somone has opened, i suppose awebber and get responce so similar...
