1 Column Wordpress Theme

Anyone uses one column theme before?
Say, I have multiple products to sell and instead of creating a separate
static page for each product, is this one column theme a good alternative?

Thought it could be good as it's still using the Wordpress platform and with all the automatic pinging etc., is this better than a static website?

Why don't you create separate dynamic pages for each product but make the product information sticky?

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

How do I do that? You mean adding page from the Wordpress dashboard and leave the link on the home page?

We just had this discussion over on the 1Kaday forum. Andrew Seltz, the GotoGuy (he is probably on this forum somewhere) has created a one-page salesletter page for Wordpress. Good looking stuff.

I will try to find the link and post it here.

Also, I just became aware of the Theis theme, which readily suits it self to creating a number of pages with one column. It isn't free, but sure looks great.

Let me first find the link to Andrew's Wordpress mod, and I'll post it here.

Smashing Magazine has a few "Top Free WordPress Theme" articles you might want to check out.

Personally, for a one-column theme I think WP Snap is a good one.

...and of course no discussion of wordpress themes would be complete without mention of Thesis from DIY Themes.
