How far you are in the List Building Business?

I think you are asking just the one question...

The best way is the one that gets you the results you want. Is that fair to say?
There are many ways to get traffic, but to build a responsive list you need to focus on 3 things:

1. Have something of value they want from you
2. Have something of value they want from you
3. Have something of value they want from you

Rinse, repeat

I hope the simplicity doesn't offend. I think we tend to forget the formula is fairly simple. It comes down to offering immense value, and then having a system in place to catch the rain.

If you want a responsive list you need to encourage interaction. Be personal. Be available. And offer great value in your email series.

I also started building list 1 year ago and got a decent thousand amount of peoples on it.
I personally used solo ads to drive traffic first but now, I only swap email list to get subscribers.

I think if you plan to build a list by offering tips on list building that you should probably learn how to build a list first...

List building comes down to having a free offer and traffic interested in that offer. That's it. Find a source of traffic then create a free offer to match the interests of that traffic and you will be good to go.

To build a responsive list of course you have to have your own product to get buyers list for buyers who normally responsive list.

Once you have your list buyers should pay attention to:
1.Nama email sender. Because if they are from the first time they will see your email to see who the sender of the email, when they find out who the sender of the email they will be happy to open the email.

2.Subject. Because if the subject line does not attract most people will not open it. more unique turn make people curious and open.

3. Relationship. In a list building relationships is also very important, because if you are not a good relationship with the list they will not be loyal to you.

List building is only part of the process. It is a very big part but is only a peace of the big picture.

It doesn't matter how you make money online. A list should always be part of your business. You have to think about what the point is on having an autoresponder. If you think "this is where the money is" your wrong.

It is to make things more automated and have the ablity to get information to a lot of people at once. A list of people that are interested in your niche.

Then you will have more then one list in the same niche.
Freebie list, list of people that signed up for your free offer.
Buyers list, list of people that have bought a product from you.
More lists will be created from testing, experimenting, different offers, ect...

You don't need your own product. It all depends on your niche and source of traffic. The angle you will approach with marketing.

Your optin rates will depend on how your squeeze page looks and your offer. Nobody can tell you what your optin rates should be or what is good. Traffic sources will act differenty to your offer. Depends on what your doing and how your doing it. You can learn from others but will never be the same.

What I would do, outsource the main points in your funnel. Put more of your time into getting more traffic. Build trust and provide value to your lists.

WOW them up front. The better your giveaway stuff is the better your funnel will convert. If you give them some PLR thing up front just to get the opt in it's going to be harder to turn subscribers into buyers.

The more you help people on your list - the more responsive they will be. Adding great value free of charge is great way to build the like know and trust factor between you and your subscribers.

After you do this then it is only a matter of picking top notch products and then promoting them seldomly to your list.

Repeat the two steps above, continue adding new subscribers and your income will grow.

I've recently realized the importance of building a list. Over the next month I am going to work on building a list. Going to be writing Kindle books that link back to my website & list. It should work good if I market my book releases good.

For the past year, I've been building my list with solo ads and being an affiliate for other people's products. This is what helped me finally go full time online.

Just earlier this month, I released my first product and now the entire list building game has changed completely. I've made far more money with my own product and a *buyer's* list in 2 weeks than in the first 3 months when I started making money from regular affiliate list building.

Build a list around what you are good and pasionate about, tell your list your story and you'll be fine. Don't worry that much about which niche is 'the best niche'. In my honest opinion almost every niche has the potential to grow a very large list. (I know some are better than others)

A buyer's list is definately the way to go! But for that i think it's best to just start creating your own products first. Ofcourse everybody has his own strategy and some might think that it's best to build a very big list fast, but that will not be the best way to go if you want to build a sustainable business model.

To really generate cash you need to have a system in place and actually have some personality in the way that you communicate with your list.

I join lists because I want to learn something not be sold to constantly with copy & paste follow-up series for over hyped products. I also like the list owner to be a regular blogger so that the relationship can become interactive.

What you want to achieve is leadership in your selected niche so that people are coming to you asking for your affiliate links for the evergreen products / services that you are recommending as must joins.

Just be yourself, promote things you would buy yourself, and try to do things a little bit differently to stand out from the crowd.

Feed your list with traffic, such as solo ads or ad swaps

Who ever said "The money is in the list" certainly knew what she was talking about. Otherwise how do you make money online. There is no other way.

Coupled with that you must have your own product and you're in a real grooving business.
