Lookig for a Graph or Chart Application or Plugin

Are there any good graph or chart softwares or plugins available where I can have my site prompt a user for information and then chart or graph the information that in input form the user or would I have to have a custom app created for this? I have found plenty of plugin where I can input a graph or chart, but I need something were my site would prompt a user for information and I would display a graph based on the information that is input from the user. For example, if I wanted to display a persons BMI (Body Mass Index) in a graph or chart, I would prompt for their age, height and weight and then display that in a graph.

The only thing I could think which would do this would be https://developers.google.com/chart/...ive/docs/index but you will need to add an additional file to take the data from the input field to plot the graph (No idea how to do that, maybe asking in the programming forum).

Thanks. I was hoping to find something more in the form of an out of box application or plugin.

I don't know if you have looked at this. It may be one that doesn't have user input but it comes with all the source files so you could probably add something if it isn't already there.

Thanks again. I have found this very same site, it does provide somewhat of what I'm looking for except the user input. Thats the hard part it seems.

It should not be hard to pass variables from the browser to a java, javascript or php application.

If the solution is developed in a language designed to work with a browser there should be methods and utilities to grab user input.

You would need a coder, but look for where the program gets its data. Then add a way to request the data from the user and pass it via that source.

      For example:

If graph data is read from a file (for example a configuration file), take user input, write it to a file, then on "Submit" launch the graph reading this file.

If it is in a database, like Wordpress, then take input, write it to the database with PHP then launch the graph.

If it is global variables in a javascript or java application, take the user input then pass the variables when the graph is launched.

A lot of that wouldn't be possible with some software, but it looks like you can find open source options that give access to code.

I'm not a low level coder so I wouldn't know how to specifically implement any of those options.

A good coder should be able to look at what you want to do and the existing source and tell you if it is possible.
