Perhaps you can start by finding out what your skills are and what value you can offer to others and turn that into an online business. So if you have writing skills, you can start making money online by writing articles, website posts or content for others.

So identify your skills and provide massive value. I believe this is the best way to make money online.

I think that different people have different ways to make money online.

You have superaffiliates that make a killing online. You have product developers who are doing extremely well, writers that are successful writing kindle or real books...

I really believe that the surest way to make money online is to develop your own product and then have it marketed by affiliates. Then you can concentrate on developing more of your own products to make even more money.

I have to agree with what you just said in your post. discovering what your skills are is an absolute must. If you don't identify what your skills are, then how can you make any money online?

After all, you need some skills to make money. I have seen too many so-called gurus say that you don't need any skills to make money online. They're full of it if you know what I mean by that.

If that were so true, then why not walk into your local hospital and tell them that you can operate on somebody's brain, and you didn't even attend medical school, or cracked a medical textbook and see how far you go with that one. You will be approached by doctors and nurses in white lab coats ready to take you to the insane ward of that very hospital because they would think that you hav lost your marbles.

You need skills in order to make money because you need to know how to do something. It isn't as easy as just clicking your mouse 3 times and wham! There's money in your PayPal account. Sorry, but it really isn't that easy. Skills are indeed a must!

I have to agree that some hard work is the key to making money online. There's no way that one can make money without doing any work at all. That's just bogus. People who teach that you can make money by simply doing nothing online don't know what they're talking about and they're full of it if you know what I mean.

In order to get anything out of the Internet, you must have skills, and you must work in order to get what you really want. There's absolutely no way around that. Skills are a must when trying to make money online. You must know how to do something in order to get something in return. That's just the way that things work, and the Internet is no exception.

Even if you do affiliate marketing you still need to possess skills and you need to know how to promote the affiliate product and such. With affiliate marketing it is much more than just placing links all over the net. There are certain skills that you need to posess in order to do affiliate marketing right.

The same can be said for just about anything else regarding online business. One of the most important things about making money online is having the right mindset. It is not all about the money, but rather, it is about you, your products and how you relate to your customer base that is important.

If you don't relate to your customer base very well, then how can you believe that you're going to make a whole lot of money then?

Making money online isn't easy. It requires lots of hard work, and the willingness to stick with it. There's absolutely no way around that sorry.

Top ways to make money online would be...

1. Offer your service such as writing articles for Fiverr, elance, or odesk
2. Affiliate marketing
3. Creating your own products
4. Ad sense

The last three no matter what method you choose I would ALWAYS build your list. This is where 90% of your income will come from.

My favorite is CPA, because you dont have to sell anything and you can still make a lot of money, you only just have to send traffic and it converts into money.

I also like affiliate marketing because you dont have to have you own product or service . You just have to send the traffic.

In my opinion Squeeze page marketing is the most profitable way to make money.

First set up a squeeze page and promote a freebie to get optins.

Second set up a similar squeeze page and promote paid products to the same list.

Simple as it sounds!

This is one of the great way to earn money online easily and cheaply.

The key to building a strong list is to build a relationship with your list and provide value to your list.

Another good way to make money online is to get your first website built and designed successfully. With a website, it will be easier for you to promote your services and products and start making money online.

I think you're barking the wrong question... Skills- there's that! You need to ask yourself:

What is your budget size?
Your personal goals?
How much time you can dedicate with your online business?

The thing is that it's all there. Any (legal) money making scheme you do online can generate revenue. But it's a tough as nails to get good results, and that's why you need to make initial assessments first hand!

There are too many ways to make money online and if you just focus on one or two and work at it, you may really be good at it. So, take some time to understand what IM is about.

Personally i like CPA and affiliate marketing as it's something that could be picked up fast and you can see results in a short period of time.

I think blogging is a great and genuine long-term business to get into that doesn't require much money to actually get started and see results. I got started with my blog for about $25, and it was already set up for me, all I had to do was start writing. I've been career blogging for about 2 or so years now and there are so many ways to make a blog profitable unlike most of the so-called "biz ops" online to date; affiliate links, referral links, banner promos from other companies willing to pay you to advertise their offer on your blog. The list goes on and on...

But when you decide to blog, you must be patient, consistent, deliver quality content and realize that it will take time to see results from your efforts but the wait is well worth it and your audience of followers will go wherever you decide take them.

You have to have a product that will provide a solution to someones problems. The best way to create that type of product is to go to forums in your niche and see what people are requiring help in certain areas. Make a list of about 8-10 problems that people are experiencing and then either create the product or out source it using those problems as chapters or create a videos series showing how to solve their problems.

Make money online begin with providing value to anything you do. If you want to make a site / blog, so you have to think about what you can offer from your experience that provide value. If you want to join affiliate network and you want to drive traffic to your sales page, so you have to offer your visitor a valuable stuff inside it. If you want to create squeeze page, you have to make sure your targeted customer will get the value from your email subscription package.

One of the best ways I know of to make money online is to promote affiliate products through paid traffic. You don't need a website or a list, just a good offer and and a few bucks to spend on advertising.

The best way I know of is to build a squeeze page, send traffic, build up an email list and have a follow up sequence that will give them good content and introduce them to your product a few times.

Then pick only high quality products to promote to your email list.

Get to know them and let them get to know you (making an intro video about yourself is a great way to do this). That way they see you are a real person and you really want to help them out.

I made peanuts from affiliate marketing, adsense and fiverr too. ( it's my experience only till date )

My most profitable earner till date is selling professional courses.

Find out the one you are really proud to create/get created/promote and apply every marketing tip you come across ( online + offline methods) It works in long term, though short term looks like a lot of work.

I'd agree with your title, there are a ton of ways, and some people are very successful in things that you would never consider yourself.

For me personally, I decided to try info-marketing. I learned a lot about what you can do wrong. I spent weeks writing a fantastic guide for a very small and specific niche, and created a sales page based on all of the advice I'd received. It sold 5 copies, and I lost money on it. I learned that you need to do market research if this is what you want to do.

I next tried Fiverr. I was amazed -- I made $300 in a week, and then moved on to bigger and better things. It was so easy and I got so many customers that I was actually almost too busy (which is something that can't really happen

). If you're looking to earn a bit of money BEFORE you go buy all of these "get a million dollars in 5 seconds! WAHOOO" products, try Fiverr or a similar service. This way, you're not losing any money you had before you started. I, unfortunately, found out the hard way.

Also, before you buy any product, sleep on it. Ask yourself if you'd still want it the next day. You'll save a lot of money.

There are many top ways to make money online such as creating and selling your own information products, holding teleseminars and webinars, creating products with others and so much more.

I would stay away from things that give you a cookie cutter web site and such because that won't make you any money they will make you spend money instead. Many people make money with affiliate programs and that too is one of the top ways to make money online.

Just remember to stay away from all the get rich quick stuff out there and focus upon stuff that has been proven to work.

Promoting higher ticket items as an affiliate and using paid traffic (be sure to build your list).

Just to let everybody here know; making money online is never easy to do. It requires dedication, hard work, and the willingness to stick with it even when times get rough. When times do get rough, that's when a whole lot of people pull out because they think that their efforts aren't worth it.

Well believe it or not, your efforts are worth it but you have to stick with the task at hand and stay focused. That's the only way that you or anybody is going to succeed online. The thing that you have to remember is that it takes time to grow a business. It doesn't happen overnight.

You need to build solid relationships, build a solid foundation in which your business is built upon, establish a reputation and so much more to become successful. It is not about trying to become a guru, but rather, it is about you becoming a successful entrepreneur and business owner. The money is just the icing on the cake. It is not the most important aspect of running and manage an oline business.

Too many people focus on the money part, and very little on what really has to be done in order to have a successful online business. Sure the money aspect is great, but what about the skills you need to succeed, and what about the products that you're going to offer and the relationships that you must build in order to establish a solid reputation?

These are the most important things, not the money.

As others have suggested, it really depends on your skills, your work ethic and how much you are willing to put into it.

There are those methods that lots of beginners, (including myself when I was starting out) use to get their feet wet. These include paid surveys, get paid to sites, freelancing here and here and so on.

You get a bit more serious (and perhaps learn that you can't make a living with paid surveys!), you realize that you probably need a website to make decent money online. For that, there is blogging, affiliate marketing, review sites, creating and selling your own products and so on.

There are lots of ways to make money online, but almost all of them (the real money making ones) require getting traffic and lots of hard work and dedication.

The biggest help you can give yourself in order to avoid scams and losing money and time is to realize that making money online is no different than making money offline. You have to work hard and commit yourself. You have to take it as seriously as you would an offline job or business.

You can either provide a service or promote someone else's product or service. Both are good methods, in my opinion. So, it actually depends on your personal choice. What are you good at? How long are you willing to wait before you start earning?

If you want to start earning immediately, then go for service, but the thing with services is, you'll only get money as long as you're working.

On the other hand, if you are willing to wait for profits, but you want automated or semi-automated income streams, go for affiliate marketing (with a blog or website maybe) or product creation (and have your affiliates promote).

To me list building is obviously the easiest and simple way to earn good money, because it doesn't get affected by google updates, just keep focus on email marketing and drive targetted traffic to squeeze page.

There are many methods of getting traffic, it can be any unique method if you have built your own system and you have tested it..

You can get traffics from forums, social media sites, search engines but for all these, you have to work hard first.
