INTERNET MARKETING

I have heard that "New guidelines from the Federal Trade Commission raise the bar for transparency online. The rules require those promoting products for a fee to say so upfront." (from http://www.nativo.net) and I am doing an article on the subject and need better sources than nativo. Does anyone know exactly where these guidelines are? Been looking through www.ftc.gov for a while without any success.

As I read it, the FTC rules, as always, ask us to put disclaimers and fees at the point prior to purchase except when a complex fee structure requires additional space. In that instance we can use an obvious hyperlink. I may be wrong but I don't remember the description "obvious" in the previous guide. I hope this means they are going to get tough with people who advertise a one time payment and then rebill over and over.
