Whos IP's just got BLACKLISTED

I have a dedicated server with lunar pages and guess what, both my ip address just got black listed by a spam company... I dont send any spam but I send a ton of email... Turns out the BLACKLISTING company that blacklisted my has a huge MO for just taking a big block of IPS and black listing them form being able to send email to a bunch of providers like hotmail, yahoo exetra. The guy at lunarpages told me that they are trying to get it reversed but that could take a week.

I set up a basic "baby" account with hostgator that would let me send 500 emails an hour. But with them, the emails I send to all the time were showing up as undeliverable or something like that all the sudden.

Ok - Im done, just had to get that out of me!

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

My dedicated server is going to take 1 week before I can send email again and I have to make money!

Please help, any advise at all would be so huge. Any advice on what the best way to start sending email again would also be huge.

Thanks
#blacklisted

Sure... I have many mailing list that I do not have with a company like awebber of getresponse.

The lunarpages guy told me that it had nothing to do with me and this SPAM company just banned a HUGE chunk of IPS.

    Justin:

They are using a self hosted autoresponder. It's not spamming, but there is a ton of work involved in keeping things running smoothly.

The fix is simple: Outsource the email operation to an autoresponder service. From the looks of the post, it's probably something they should have done a looooong time ago.

That is why you go with Aweber or Getresponse, they deal with the ISP's so u don't have to and they keep up on the laws and changing landscape of sending bulk email.

To get your IP's unbanned you have to contact the ISP and request using their unblock procedures.

I used to run email software from my domains but I got tired of having to real with the spam complaints, phishing and spoofing... I was spending most of my time talking to ISP's.

It just isn't worth it, plus your deliverability is much much less than Aweber or GR, they have a personal relationship with most of the ISP's and go to seminars where they network with the decision makers and executives of the ISP's.

You just can't get the same deliverability rate running from your own domain as you can using one of the premiere autoresponder services. For 20.00 or less a month it is worth it to me to use one of them than run one myself.
