Need Help Getting a New Wordpress Blog Indexed

Hello all,

My post title says it all - what is the quickest and easiest way to get a new Wordpress blog indexed by Google? Not looking for a lot of fancy information, just some easy step-by-step instructions I can follow (preferably free) to do this.

I would really appreciate any information you can provide or direct me to.

    I got mine indexed in 12-24 hours.

    1) Use Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites and Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com

    2) Webmasters ? Google

    3) Add and ping content with keywords from: Google Trends

    3 steps and wait. That's how I indexed my last blog.

    Free Website URL Submission - Submit Google, Yahoo, Bing (MSN) (submits to over 40 search engines)

    Follow this process with every article you create.

    I don't think you need to do anything these days to get indexed fast. By the time you post any meaningful content, it should be picked up. I've had sites with no links online get indexed. Not sure how. Maybe it's through domain registration info. A few links on social media should get it recognized pretty fast. Submitting to SEs can't hurt but I never do that.

    I use the warrior forums blog system to get all my new blog posts indexed quickly.

    The warrior forum blog post get indexed within 2 - 5 minutes!!

    Its a very handy tool that I don't think many people are utilizing to its full potential

    If your post is on a new domain, it may take time to get indexed. There's alot of good suggestions here in the replies, but here's what I do.

    1) Ping the post at Pingler.com
    2) Submit post url as a Facebook Status Update, Tweet, Add to Google Plus, Stumbleupon.

    I blog on a high authority domain, so my posts get indexed without alot of work (I don't really need to do any of the above, but I like to.)

    On a newer domain, the above steps should atleast get you indexed.

    Thanks all. I have implemented your advice.

    Now when I type my site name into the Google search bar like this:

    "http://www.mysitename.com" (i don't even type the word "site" before it)

    ...I see that the 5th listing down is my Wordpress site listed.

    Does that mean that my site is indexed?

    I am assuming this is a good sign?
