Where would be the best place to hire an individual who will be able to generate quality traffic for a website?

On freelance sites I guess. But you can try PPC traffic too by yourself.

Why you need someone when you can promote your web site by yourself?

It is very time consuming to promote by myself, and since at the moment it is not my current full time venture it is very hard to do. I would like to be getting thousands of visitors a month which to do free very time consuming. CPC is not profitable since the keywords are very competitive.

Why not just buy the traffic? Seems like a more direct way to your result. Lots of alternatives to CPC.

      Brad,

Buy traffic from where? I assume that would just be traffic in general and have no target market?

Build a website people would want to visit. Sorry but there are no shortcuts.

I'm no expert by any means but I think the best way is to have your traffic grow organically. If you start buying traffic things can get ugly. Focus on building great content then hire a VA or someone to help with SEO to bring in some traffic. I have a VA right now that does primarily my website design but once I start doing better I'll probably hire someone to do some SEO work for me, but I'm hoping that will grow naturally.

On a site note I just got 4 subscribers on my Youtube channel and I haven't even updated at all this week.

You need targeted traffic. If you are starting out my suggestion would be PPV, either Lead Impact or Traffic Vance. Lead Impact has a $200 initial deposit and Traffic Vance has a $1,000 deposit. I would suggest the Lead Impact Route. Both offer very targeted PPV traffic. You would need a squeeze page to first. PPC is good also but is very expensive and has a longer learning curve.

Designing the traffic strategy is a business decision. Your site can get de-indexed if you do things wrong, so you can´t let others choose for you.

Once you make your plan, to find workers willing to follow your instructions is easy.

If you are going to hire someone to generate traffic you need to make sure that they use white-hat methods and that the traffic is targeted. You really need to pay attention to who you hire when it comes to generating traffic.
