Also, is this even a good choice to begin with? currently diving into the GAN - Google affiliate Network. and searching around trying to figure out what the heck I am doing.

So far.. I have a couple things. I have Amazon affiliate, and Google Affiliate Network. and..

a You Need a budget affiliate link. lol. If you need a budget I can get you one *wink*.

I'm assuming my next step is to find my first product to sell???

I was going to start with Commission Junction but I saw way too many complaints to risk my first commissions getting stolen.

ClickBank sounds really enticing, but I'm nervous with all the E-books I've used so far lacking quality content. I am up for convincing though. My thread posts are all over the place. jeez.

Your traffic sources impact your income dramatically. Focus on high value traffic sources.

Do keyword research for affiliate products at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Build a website/ blog and insert affiliate links into it. And generate traffic to your website.

No traffic = no sales. Make sure focus targeted traffic for getting better conversion rate.

You could also try various CPA networks: Neverblue, Peerfly, Clickbooth... If you are in the IM niche, try also Warriorplus & JVZoo

Were they all in the "internet marketing" or "make money online" niches, John?

There'd be no point at all in promoting those, as an affiliate, anyway: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932

There are about 298 other niches represented on ClickBank, too.

It may well be that the few of their 15,000+ products you've seen yourself were both (a) unrepresentative and (b) irrelevant to what you might promote as an affiliate.

Make sure you have an email list set up so you can get traffic boosts. You can also use the list for social neywork viralization.

So, I have been working with multiple affiliate network.

Running in a bad advertiser is always possibility. However, Commission Junction is probably one of the top two affiliate network (and no Google Affiliate Network wouldn't rank on the top 2).

I guess you may want to spend some more time looking into affiliate network and find out more about them.

As much as possible, try other higher paying but more specialized CPA networks.
